  1. Definitely trade Olynyk, he's ass.
Sochan you gotta keep but also gotta PLAY HIM GODDAMNIT MITCH JOHNSON

  2. Is there a rift between management and coaches with Sochan?
Clearly Pop and B Wright like him, but Mitch doesn't know how to use him.

  3. We neex toughness… Jeremy Sochan is just that. Mind you im not a Jeremy fan on the offensive end. But i heard his agent is teyna get more money than there willing to play.

  4. I don't mean any disrespect. But if trading Kelly means Mitch has to actually experiment with his lineups in a meaningful way then I'm all for it.

  5. I don’t think Kelly Olynyk should be on this spurs squad. No hate… just don’t think he fits. There’s def a better fit than him out there. I’d move on from Kelly first over Jeremy.

  6. If sochan like stay why trade him he the just need improve shooting remember he guy willing fit in system from day 1,he still one best point attack def in league and versatile def that rare player in league

  7. Let it go guy, he still has the worst plus minus in the team per ESPN, and STATMUSE, he still has one of the worst def ratings on the team for supposedly wing “the second best defender “ on the team- clan the sochan fan.. lol

  8. I love Sochan. He doesn’t fit our team great anymore and he is better off going to another team. Knicks would be good for him, they known for grit. Plus he could win over there. I’m also a Yabu optimist, but… we NEED a first back if it’s only him.

  9. JS is gone…. i think Spurs are working 2 trades with N.O and Nets some draft picks involved

  10. I keep seeing trade talk around Jeremy Sochan, and I think it overlooks what he actually brings to the Spurs.

Sochan isn’t a scorer, and that’s okay. His value shows up in defense, versatility, effort, and doing the things that don’t always show in the box score. He can guard multiple positions, take on tough assignments, bring physicality, and help set the tone on the floor.

That’s why I see similarities to Dennis Rodman — not in stats, but in role and mentality.

When Dennis Rodman joined the Chicago Bulls, Michael Jordan made it clear that he didn’t need Rodman to score. He valued him for defense, rebounding, energy, and doing the dirty work so the stars could be stars. Rodman’s impact went far beyond points.

That’s the same core I see in Sochan.

With more consistent minutes and development time, I believe Sochan can become one of those glue guys every winning team needs. Players like that don’t always get the spotlight, but teams feel it immediately when they’re not there. Trading a player like that too early could end up being a mistake.

Just my take as a Spurs fan who values defense, culture, and long-term growth.

  11. Trade Barnes, Olynyk, Waters and a couple of picks for Murphy III and let's start getting serious about this Championship.
