  1. I dont have much hope for that team, but the East is so weak… would be a missed opportunity not to improve the roster imo

  2. Yes. Raptors should definitely stand pat at the trade deadline. Solve the centre issue in free agency, or the off season. Get a backup centre from the G-League.

  3. They might as well punt the season if they don't get a 7Ft Def(ish) backup C, as Scottie and CMB get worn out playing the 5 – idiotic really

Not sure if Sabonis would cut it (if Poeltl is going out) but sure

Also i got no idea why Shead was in for the last 21.7 seconds when you need the highest FT% players in – wtf Darko

  4. Sorry I ever doubted you Quickly! I feel like the only thing we need now is just a backup center. Either Goga, Huff, Landale, etc…

  5. Quickely basically missed the development from all of last year, from that game 1 injury.

So he's basically been playing catch up, and even though he's struggled a s PG, the reps were valuable. Now, he can dip into that skillset in spurts, which makes him even more effective.

  6. I would stand pat with the core. If there’s any move I would trade Ochai and 3 seconds for yves missi. If needed, I would be willing to trade a 2029 top 10 protected pick. I know this 2026 pick won’t be super valuable, but this draft is DEEP. I would like to snag another centre with our pick this year. Either Aday Mara or maybe Chris cenac if he continues to drop. He’s 6’11 and more of a stretch big. But that’s where missi comes in. He’s your traditional big. Except athletic. Awesome
Shot blocker and just needs a change of scenery and a better coaching staff. I think missi would thrive here

  7. Yes, I’m with you, Julian. I see no reason to do anything at the moment. This group is developing really well and will continue to improve. A small move to get under the luxury tax line and let’s see where it goes.

  8. Make moves if the price is right.. no need to give up coveted 1st round picks being impatient

Last thing you want is to unload your assets for ok deals (Knicks with bridges, hawks with dejounte, magic with bane)

  9. New Orleans does not have a first round puck this year. So I would trade a first round pick, for Missi, and Jose. ( Make the money work) Then IQ can continue being a shooting guard. In regard to BI, you failed to mention that Dort never left his side. IMO, he fouled BI many times. However, BI does have to expect and deal with Dort hard defense.

  10. RJ needs to stay. Move some bench pieces (redundant or expiring contracts) to shore up the back up C on an affordable contract. Maybe get a traditional back up PG, maybe a future 3 and D prospect. But DEFS NEED A C to run with the serious teams once every game counts.

  11. The Raps need a Center. Sending them into the playoffs without a Center would be like sending your troops to war without the right weapons & equipment.

Its like the opposition has tanks (ie Embiid, Robinson, Queta, Mobley, Allen, etc) & you have a bunch of horse drawn carriages.

How is it a fair fight? At least give the Raptors the ammo/ personnel they need to stand a fighting chance in the playoffs.

I completely disagree with this take & I find it completely illogical & I think its setting up the Raptors to sustain more injuries & to fail.

Management should at least give them a fighting chance!.

The Raps can trade Ochai, Mogbo & 2 seconds to find the best C available & still get under the tax.

  12. Agree totally with your assessment: stand pat/wait for the right opportunity. Thanks for another great video.
