any trade on par with the derozan trade would be positive, but selling the future to win now would mean maybe win now, for sure lose later when Giannis walks for a better contract. building a better team with a few smart additions I'm good, But this obsession with stars is so American. Of all the harden, durant, Kyrie moves on and on…only Lebrun ever moved the needle successfully, him and Kawai. But getting Giannis by stripping the future: bad move, very risky and bad for the raptors culture of hard work and teamwork uber ales.

Giannis seems much more 'me 1st' these days rather than team 1st. And the massive cost will make it so a couple injuries would cook any chance that team would have. Kinda like the Bucks now.

We got as high as 3rd seed with the team we have. Why can't we just keep seeing our young team develop and build chemistry? Also, if adding Giannis to your mix automatically makes you a top team, then why are the Bucks not a top team?

Giannis didn’t even pick Toronto as his trade destination. So I don’t think he would even consider coming here sadly..

It is not worth it for the raptors to trade and give up majority of our roster and future for Giannis now. maybe if he was in his prime, but i believe imo our core is good and we are only a few small pieces away for a legit contnder.
