Trade deadline got players playing finally (ugh). Inconsistent play still a problem for the starters. (Moody and Pods specifically) They need to match tonight in Detroit, Philly, Phoenix and LA. Otherwise Horford, Kuminga, Green, Curry, D'melt, Seth and Will,. Trade the rest.
Ever since that 2024 Boston-Mavs finals, I always rate Horford's defense that highly. Who tf cares about age when it's clear as day that the man is still as good as he's usually been. My message to Kerr is don't get back to your usual dumb tendency by only playing one big with 4 guards. This is the way to go. Most of the time you have to play with 2 bigs, only use GP when your offense is kinda stuck as his pick n roll wirh Curry can be effective but sadly his defense is no more of high quality I think. And I really like that move of Horford being paired with Draymond in the starting 5. Always knew since that Denver game (when we won in OT and Curry scored 42 and Gordon went off) that him being paired with Draymond will create such a lockdown D that basically could lock up the paint, versatile enough to switch, while giving them 2 bigs who can pass the ball and stretch the floor (albeit Horford is the only one who can keep the opps defense honest in this regard). If we're going for a trade, I hope that we will trade sensibly. All in all, great win dubnation!!
