Of all the possible trades the Grizzlies could make, Townes is one of the least desirable.
The season started with so much promise and has turned out to be a season that really sucked. Let’s play it out and see what else happens.
He literally talked about this in the post game interview. He said he hit his funny bone when blocking the first shot, but then he said he’s fine though it doesn’t hurt anymore. So it just sounds like some funny stuff is going on behind the scenes. I guess it could be the adrenaline and once he calmed down it started hurting more, but bro, he literally said he’s fine.
Taylor Jenkins started Konchar at center late last season, and my thought was that he's trying hard to get fired.
I've been saying this for ages. Here is my rant. JA STOP JUMPING SO HIGH!!!! Most of his injuries come from him landing wrong or hitting something wrong, who knows. Ja is a great player, but brother, you have to learn how to play under control. Trying hard is awesome, but hitting yourself on the backboard isn't. If I was Ja Morant, I'd stop going for those type of blocks! Dude you should try to prolong your career by playing under the rim and only, only, only if needed, go for the highlight dunks or blocks. I get it, Ja has heart when he plays, but dude is always injured cause he forces the issue. I still remember him falling near Lebron and bending his hands backwards. Like these things could happen less if you just play less in the air, and just play more of a roaming game, pick and choose your spots. STOP GETTING INJURED BY DOING THESE RECKLESS PLAYS! EVEN YOU WHEN YOU DUNK, HANG ON THE RIM AND BRACE YOUR LANDING! DON'T HARD LAND!
We are tanking thats why Zack and Ja dont play if they play we can’t help but win so fake a little when your a little bruised , we can’t make the playoffs and we need one of those dudes coming out of college.

Hopefully this is just a way for him to sit out and it's understood he's going to be traded. Which is quite likely I just hope they are whispering that to the gms they are trading him to
1st we are tanking. They are looking for a reason not to play Ja. 2nd If Ja & Jaren would've led this team to a player-off type record Ja wouldn't be in trade talks. Iisoalo would've been canned by now for his lineups. Ja & Jaren were giving the chance to show they can led this team back to relevance with Iisoalo the injuries, this roster. They can't do it. Now I think Kleiman would rather position himself to be a contender two or three years from now. A lot of big names will retire. OKC & the Spurs will be the only power house teams left. All the other teams will be in prove it or rebuild mode. Take a look at the top teams in the NBA who has a roster that will keep them on top in 2 years? If Memphis finds another player to pair with Coward and Edey they could be a solid contender with a higher ceiling than Ja and Jaren at the helm.
When is Brandon comin back tho? I think we really need him and edey, it's gonna help Ja a lot too, lowkey just wanna see them play together.
I’m just sick and tired of the injuries. It’s sickening for this to be the same theme far too often.

As for the Grizzlies, they aren’t going anywhere. January serves as progress report for me. Based on the injuries the Grizzlies have incurred and the season, no playoff hopes are expected. I’m good with that. Coaching needs to be change after the season.
If a Grizzlies trade is to happen, it could be for financial reasons. Otherwise, who truly knows
