Giannis 5th all time feels like a reach to me. I’d have KG, Duncan, Bird, Hakeem, jokic and maybe KD over him off the top of my head. Def think there are a couple more players too. He’s around the 15th best all time imo, still an absurdly good player

From a basketball standpoint, I understand trading Scoot, but he’s untouchable in my heart.
rui is horrible. bad chemistry, bad defender, bad vide, stops the ball movement. as deni fans – beilieve us when we tell you rui is a mess. the last thing you need in portland. rui = kuzma
that's the true answer? the difference between deni's wizards and deni's blazers is that he's not playing with rui anymore. you want to downgrade deni again? bring rui to the blazers (he was the worst defender on the wizards team btw)
Great trade…… however: I don't think Deni and Giannis are a great fit. I would rather give up less and end up with L Markiden or OG and say B Portis and call it a day.
I hear a lot of "Giannis and Deni don't fit", but Deni is a decent 3pts shooter, and we have 48 minutes of nonstop steamrolling the opposing paint.
And the defensive side look pretty strong
No Jaren Jackson? Jackson/Clingan would dominate…Giannis and his leg issues at 31 are a concern…Trey Murphy would be worth it..Towns always ends up pissing off his teammates…OG is a perfect fit
Deni can be Jokic /Luka lite. He needs his Jamal Murray or a better number 2. The Blazers don't currently have that player on the roster. Sharpe is solid but not there. Camara is nice but not there. Clingan is a nice big but in no way a dominant big yet. Dame might fit that bill but age and coming back from injury factor in.
Get Ryan Rollins instead of Turner in the last trade if possible.
Duop out for the season post-surgery, so can every trade with him on the board 😢

With DC a couple of weeks ago it was clear he was doing good about getting OR and going right back up with it for the basket. It feels like the last few games he's gotten more turn overs by bringing the ball down and then getting stripped.
I think that to get Giannis, we’d have to offer a package of Scoot and Sharpe together, plus draft picks (maybe even include Williams). I think that would be a package that could really help Milwaukee with their future, and it would be hard for them to refuse.
And it would also help Portland become a championship contender.
I think a roster of:
Deni, Lillard, Holiday, Giannis, Clingan, Camara, Grant, Blake Wesley, and Matisse Thybulle
is a roster that can compete.
Or if you don’t go for Giannis,
I think a trade of Holiday and Grant plus a draft pick for Towns, and another trade of Robert Williams plus a draft pick for Gafford could be insane if they manage to pull it off.
We’d have crazy size.
A starting lineup of:
Dame, Deni, Camara, Towns, and Clingan would be amazing.
And off the bench:
Scoot, Sharpe, and Gafford.
That would be crazy.
I think Deni has some mental issues when he met the Wizards. He wants to show them and it's taking him out of the zone. Last year he got injured, and in the moda center he has one of his weakest games douring the second half, so maybe. In this game he started good, but maybe in the bench it's started again. Probably that's the reason he hasn't tried to take shots in the clutch.
I have seen a great joke that he is so used to be passive in the corner in DC, so he went there 😂

On the Giannis trade you proposed, I think the Knicks have to add some draft capital. Do they have any after the trades of the last few years?🤷♂️
Sorry, I don't want Giannis at all. No one is worth 62 million a year. 35-36% of the cap and injury prone. I want a team. This is why you can't build a team around this type of player. 30 years old and over 1/3 of your cap. No thank you.
That Giannis you described doesn't exist anymore. Five years ago he did, not anymore.
One of the things I've seen in sports is that there are players that are amazing when nothing is on the line, but disappear in big games. I think of Tony Romo for the Cowboys. Players that a team is built around and help a team achieve success, but disappear in the playoffs. To me KAT seems like one of these players. He's good and will help you achieve success, but can't be counted on. If Deni & Dame can carry during the playoffs then I could okay with getting KAT.

Bridges averages 15.6 a game this year. Trading a 22 year old Shaedon who is averaging 21+ for him is crazy talk.
In my eyes on the last trade we give more than the ny keep sharp and the give two first round pick
