When I see Bobby Marks talking trades on behalf of ESPN, I often wonder who in the hell is in charge at the mothership? Do the shot callers at ESPN forget this man was the brains of the most lopsided trade in NBA history back in 2013?

Idk what Charles is talking about. As Kenny stated Garland is injury prone. He’s eating up $40M of the Cavs cap space. While Hunter is taking up about $23M of the Cavs cap space. That’s $63M.
Schroeder is $14M while Ellis is less than $2.5M. The Cavs just secured a dependable PG and a POA defender. Garland is more than likely up next on the trading block. While Hunter’s $23M contract is off the books as they want Jaylon Tyson to step up and fill that role at $3.5M.
$23M for one player has been converted into $20M for three (Schroeder, Ellis & Tyson). And I’m almost sure they’ll move off of Schroeder too come the off-szn. Therefore creating even more cap space for a more significant acquisition/extension then, if need be.
As for Sacramento, with Hunter they got a more premium trade-able asset in Hunter. Who I’m sure they’re looking to flip again for picks. Possibly Kuminga.

Something else has to be BREWING for the CAVS…this makes no sense at all positionally…giving up a forward for 2 MORE GUARDS on a heavy guard roster! Positional size and length matter! Ball will now be traded and then I EXPECT a BIGGIE TRADE!!! That has to be what's going to happen!
