I keep hearing 55 mil in cap space but you do know that you need to replace Bron, Rui, Ayton, Hayes, Smart right? Not counting Gabe and Maxi because they provide nothing.

They are tanking, if you're not willing to trade picks, trade for older players, or trade for players with multiple years on their contract you're not trying to make a trade especially, if all have of value is expiring contracts, but won't take anything but expiring contracts 🤷 Nobody wants Rui but a few Lakers fan that don't realize he's nothing but a low volume shooter, that can't defend or rebound. They are acting like they're trying to make a trade, but really aren't. Rob should be fired by next season. He's had plenty of opportunities to upgrade this roster, but here we are with the most non athletic team and also the worst bench in the NBA for like the last year 4 years in a row.

The Lakers are being smart and should not trade for anybody until the summer. 50 million cap space and can still resign Austin on Bird's rights. We're not going to win the chip this year and that's okay. We have a puncher's chance and that's good enough for us Laker fans. I'm glad management is being patient.

The problem with the lakers nation trade suggestions are that they do not understand that there are 29 other teams in the league most of which have better assets. The misleading part of this is that Trevor still reads them and most of the time does not point out the error of logic in those trade because that might discourage super chats. Its why the lakers nation fans, not all of them keep throwing out delusional trade scenarios.
