What is the right move for the Charlotte Hornets to make at the trade deadline in 2026? The Hornets are currently on a 6 game winning streak with the latest win being against the San Antonio Spurs. After that win, it became apparent that the Hornets may not need to make a MAJOR move. But there are small moves that can be made to help improve this team’s chances in the playoffs. What do you think is the right move for the Hornets?

I wouldn't make any trades this year. Lets continue to build through the draft. I definitely wouldn't trade sexton or salaun. Btw, you got to give Kon all the credit for this turn around. He makes the players around him better. He even brought the summer league trophy home to charlotte. Just my opinion.
Do you think trading LaMelo is on the table? Or do you think it's unlikely since were on this run right now?

Would you call the Cavs to see how motivated they are to move Lonzo? They are a tax team looking to unload payroll. They might be willing to give up a second round pick to swap Connaughton's expiring salary for Ball who would be a perfect backup point guard. If not, Tre Mann's $8M for Lonzo's $10M salary saves Cleveland money in the long run. Still would like to see another center like Day'Ron Sharpe but would even entertain Goga Bitadse.

Somewhat agree on the guard play and 2nd unit issues. Colin is a scorer not a facilitator. James is limited offensively and also not a facilitator. Mann isn't getting run because he is very passive on offense, actually a good defender, but just dribbles and limits ball movement . Kalk, Williams ,Green, Salaun all need to be set up because the can't create shots for themselves so the second unit struggles. A couple off guys who could create offense with that second unit would be great. No need to break the chemistry unless it for a all-star caliber player that fits the team.
They should went for Tre Jones last summer. I dont think Hornets expected to be good, he made so much more sense than tre mann even then. But you know Hornet fans longing for the Terry Rozier days wanted to keep Mann at all cost… 😂

I feel like the way Charlottle plays would revitalize his game honestly…Cleveland doesnt have good ball movement at all .

We could use a backup PG, so Sexton can play the 2. Also we could use a big that can shoot
I am worried about our bench depth. These teams that make playoff pushes have really deep benches. Look at Indiana and OKC last year. Other than Sexton and Kalkbrenner, our bench is fodder. Tre Mann looks like he’s given up on the game of basketball, and we don’t really have any good backup wings because Sexton is forced to play the point
Treman was nice before. Now he just desperate to get his stats. Because his minutes are down.
