The Denver Nuggets Cannot Beat the Oklahoma City Thunder

The Denver Nuggets Cannot Beat the Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder matched up with the Nuggets for the first time since game 7 of the semifinals last season. And while there were significant players missing from both sides, by and large, this game looked a lot like that one.

  1. Basketball is a game of match ups and a game of runs! That's why offensive rebounding and protecting the rim are 2 of the most important stats in all of basketball

  2. Turns out the Nuggets need Gordon, Braun, (and Cam) after all. Jokic looked a little out of shape from the downtime too. Also, the Thunder actually had a great game. A couple free throw merchant plays, but ultimately not a ref-aided win.

  3. Jokic gotta play better than that for sure. I’ll give him grace cause he’s back from injury, but him and Murray need to perform better next time. It’s funny Wolves have a positive record against okc, a losing record against Denver, and Denver have a losing record so far against Okc. I think those three teams are the clear favourites to win the wes

  4. Hartenstein is not the second best defender in the league. I don't even think defensive impact when I think of him. His defensive rating is a reflection of the overall defense. Same goes with Holmgren pretty much. He's a great shot blocker, but not necessarily a great overall defender. In fact, he's a noodle on the block.

  5. Hey Skap amazing work as always! I have a request for a video, it’s about the nfl. I think you should do one about the overrated Matt Stafford as a quarterback. I feel he gets bailed out all the time by his teams (like someone we both know in the nba 😂) especially when he won the Super Bowl in 2022. And I most definitely don’t think he’s a hall of famer either not by any means. I think it would be a great video!
