Is Lonzo Ball A REALISTIC Option For The Charlotte Hornets?
Is Lonzo Ball a realistic option for the Charlotte Hornets? With the trade deadline approaching, the Hornets could be in the market for making a “win-now” move that doesn’t require them to give up too many future assets. While the team may be ahead of schedule, Jeff Peterson and Co. may not want to panic and make a move but at the same time realize they have to make some kind of move to ensure the Hornets can make a valiant push for the playoffs.

I rather go after True Holiday from Portland
Honestly, I wouldn't be mad with us getting lonzo so long as we keep him for at least two years to let him shake off the rust. He's clearly not 100% yet. If not Lonzo, then Tre Jones or maybe see if we can snag Rob Dillingham and see what he could bring with legit minutes given to him
I would love to see him on the team to play with his brother would just be awesome
The defense & general IQ is obviously not the problem for lonzo, it’s his offense right now. I like the Tre Jones pick but with us & the bulls fighting for a play in spot, i dont know if they would be WILLING to help the hornets fill in a CLEAR hole. Honestly the back up point guard spot through the league is pretty stale right now (not because of lack of talent but because of lack of trade value that doesn’t require the hornets to give up TOO much), i wouldn’t call the hornets crazy for hitting up chris paul at this point, i dont know his situation but he is a TRUE floor general. Old yes, offense doesnt look as efficient as it once did but be can get guys open its been his job all his career & he is a veteran & former “hornets” player
Lonzo could be a good move but I think the Cavs would ask for a lot. Firstly, because Lonzo could be off the books next year. And secondly, because of the "Ball Tax". Lonzo has more value to the Hornets than other teams because Melo is on the roster. The hope would be that the synergy of playing on a team with Melo would reignite something in Lonzo. And they play with a pace that would benefit from Lonzo's skill set (minus the three-point shooting). But I don't know if the Hornets will sign up for the potential spectacle.
Horrible trade idea. We need scoring for when our starting unit isn’t playing. Lonzo is basically a worse Josh green
Lonzo needs minutes….he's like a racehorse locked in the stable and languishing in Cleveland. Charlotte brought in Seth…Lonzo is way more betterer.
None, Lonzo aint coming to Charlotte
Bro Lonzo is the answer. He’s not shooting well cause he’s in an awkward situation in Cleveland. Him along side Melo…. That’s the REAL Splash brothers. They’re literally the same player with two different styles.
Bro, NBA teams not fighting to get all 3 , and now 2 ball brothers on the same team is low iQ from GMs.
STOP IT! I love LaMelo, but one injury-prone Ball brother is enough. We have plenty of assets to work with in the off-season to make more interesting moves. Let's not risk good chemistry on moves that are more amusing than enhancing.
Is there a way to get Tre Jones?
This dream is dead & no Hornets fan should still want this nonsense when the team is ballin'.
The notion was cool when the team wasn't playing for anything, but now they are & Lonzo is somewhat damaged goods. Naw, let Jeff Peterson continue what he's doing.👎🏾
