  1. If he returns to his career shooting, they can probably get something for him next year. It's a bit of a gamble. DH is only 15% of the cap. Lateral move, pushing things back until next year.

  2. I think this is a salary alignment of opening up the books next year. 8 also think its a open roster spot move for a domas trade to follow

  3. according to espn the Cavs gave up quite a bit to get Hunter. Maybe we are getting him on a down year for decent value.

  4. The kings traded 2 SHORT guys and a useless end of the bench guy for a TALL backup SMALL FORWARD, who has an expiring contract next season.

Think about for a few days and make a new video.

Keon is OVERRATED. An overrated defensive player, because he's SKINNY AND SHORT.

He can only defend point guards and shooting guards but most of these PG and SG are TALL and STRONG. They destroy keon every time!

Do you think keon can defend POINT GUARDS or shot creators like Cade Cunningham or Amen Thompson or LUKA….. ANTHONY EDWARDS!!!!!

  5. wrong..DH has 2 years left on the contract, the Kings has until next year to decide if they want to flip him for Burger King fries. Also, Kings only gave up 1 (2nd) rounder, 2029 pick and Cavs gave up (2027 2nd rd pick). This is a good trade by the Kings. They got rid of Schroder 4 yr contract, Saric bad contract, and Keon potential $17 mill contract after this season (if extended). Do some research before saying misleading info. It affects your credibility.

  6. It has been cringe watching Demar be the Kings starting SF when SF these days are mostly 6'9 or taller. Demar is listed at a questionable 6'7 but looks and plays like a very slow 6'5 guy who literally can't jump. He struggles to jump to dunk the ball because he cannot jump anymore. My friggin gosh this team is so messed up. I am sad to see Keon go but am looking forward to see how Hunter works out for the Kings.

  7. I think that this trade actually shows Scott Perry thinking outside of the tranditional mold a bit.

A rebuild is all about gathering assets. But 2nd round picks are not the only type of asset. Yeah, the Kings could've gotten a couple of those picks here (I'm assuming that if they made this trade, they found they couldn't get a 1st rounder, and that the potential seconds weren't high ones).

But let's look at it this way:
    * The Kings started reducing their jam in the back court, that should help give Nique Cliford more play time
    * They got roster flexibility that allows them to turn Cardwell into a permanent contract, which is super valuable for the team
    * They can now try to carry out a deal for Sabonis getting 2/3 for 1, so they can demand smaller contracts instead of terrible deals like Quickley or Poeltl.

But the biggest point for me is that the Kings are trying to appreciate an asset. Right now, the lost opportunity cost is 3 2nd round picks they lost (including the worthless one they gave away). But Hunter is a guy who, with actual playing time, can become someone you can flip next year as an expring contract in a league favourite position. You can pull a 1st rounder for him, or userful younger guys. Just look at the package he yielded just a year ago.
The Kings have the place to make such moves now as they tear the team down and don't want to win anyway.

  8. I like this trade. Next season the Kings will have Lavine and Hunter huge expiring contract which gives them potential trade pieces for teams looking to get out of the 1st or 2nd apron in the salary cap. Going to miss Keon.

  9. As a Cavs fan Deandre is not a good defender and for his size he unfortunately can’t rebound the ball. You will get amazing poster dunks from him tho lol

  10. I like the trade. You get bigger and free up the back court. This is just the beginning.

  11. As a Cavs fan I’m gonna miss Deandre. He’s had an off year but he’s really fun when he’s playing like he should

  12. I like this trade .. not only because they got a wing but because it will free up Dylan cardwell, Clifford and Devin Carter

  13. I’m usually with you on your takes. But I don’t understand how this doesn’t make sense to you. Keon was going to leave for nothing. Deandre is definitely a 3 & D after watching him for YEARS. Y’all wanted the tank here, it’s here. Now it makes no sense? We gota stay consistent

  14. This is exactly how i feel.. this team gives away picks for free every year 😂max prosper, jonas all just picks flying away with no true vision or planning
