With the amount of guys who do absolutely nothing in the NBA guys who were born to be 7 foot, and are fully mobile, but don't spend at least a year or two collecting millions for doing nothing at all are really selling
Trading Holmes is a no go unless it brings a significant playoff caliber player to us. It's just not happening. I'm surprised you didn't mention Zeke. But bottom line I'd be shocked if the Nuggets did anything. They have trash at 12-15 and teams know that. There is no value.
I never really thought about trading Daron Holmes because I believe once he gets it down and “click” he can actually contribute and make an impact off the bench. The problem is I’m not sure if Nuggets has the luxury to continue developing him. I thought Daron would be playing a lot more this season, but maybe he’s just not quite NBA ready. He’s not even ahead of Zeke Nnaji in the depth chart currently. That’s how much he still has to improve his game.
One thing for sure is Nuggets has to trade Zeke and one of Strawther or Holmes by the offseason so they have th cap space to resign Peyton Watson. The #1 priority is like Adam said, get off of Hunter Tyson’s money this trade deadline and convert Spencer Jones’ contract. It also gives Nuggets 1 more roster spot to sign a veteran/playoff caliber player after signing Spencer to a standard deal.
Zeke has definitely played himself into being serviceable for specific match ups in the playoffs this year . For example I don’t think he would be any worse at defending SGA than , Braun , or Spencer . I would keep Zeke for one more year for sure
I am not off on Zeke. I think he is playable and showed as such. I think CB and Cam are more vulnerable now that PWat has ascended. Retaining him is the priority and anything to position Denver to do as such should be done.

Both players prows they are playoff calibar players, why to trade anyone of them. Ok, Hunter trade because of 3 milion but why Holmmes?.
