Lakers need additional reliable outside shooters to open the lane for Bron, AR, or Smart penetration. Why not include not so high prices like Dick, Gillespie, Kennard, Grimes, Grayson Allen, Sheppard, McConnel, Knueppel, Ivey, da Silva, Champagnie, etc.
If Lebron retires or goes to cavs, keeping Rui at the 4 ala Gordon would be great

Pretending Rui is good doesn’t make other teams believe it. Rui is completely awful in every single way. No one wants him. No one wants anyone except Luka and Reaves. Should trade Reaves now because he will not be on Lakers next year.

-Lakers trade Austin Reaves, Maxi Kleber, Jared Vanderbilt, and '32 1st
Reason: Basically swap Reaves for Murphy who you can argue makes more sense than AR next to Luka moving forward. He is also cheaper. Will also add Jackson who can start over Ayton as he brings hustle, length, and athletism.
-Pacers get Austin Reaves, Maxi Kleber, and Jalen Wilson
-Pacers trade Bennedict Mathurin, Obi Toppin, Isiah Jackson, '28 1st rd pick, '32 2nd rd pick
Reason: Gives the Pacers another ball handler and play maker next to Hali. They shed the contracts of Toppin and Jackson to be able to resign Reaves.
-Pelicans get Bennedict Mathurin, Jared Vanderbilt, '27 1st Via HOU(BK) top 10 pro, '27 1st via NY(BK) top 10 pro, '28 1st via IND unpro
-Pelicans trade Trey Murphy and a '32 2nd
Reason: Pels get another young wing along with 3 1st rd picks
-Nets get Obi Toppin, '32 1st via LA (unpro), '32 2nd via NO
-Nets trade Jalen Wilson, '27 1st rd pick via HOU and '27 1st via NY
Reason: They take on a contract but will get an unprotected LA pick in '32. Nets having so many young talent and early picks already I think they could be willing to send out 2 early 1st that will be projected as late 1st for a future unprotected 1st.
