Should the Raptors go all-in on Giannis Antetokounmpo?

Will Lou and Alex Wong discuss the latest rumor that Giannis Antetokounmpo is finally ready to move on from the Milwaukee Bucks. They look at what Toronto’s best trade offer would be, then discuss where Giannis should actually end up.

  1. If Giannis (age 31) were truly elite at leadership, MIL wouldn’t be here. 🏗️ CONTINUITY = CORE ADVANTAGE. Dynasties aren’t bought, they’re BUILT. 🇨🇦 All-Star talent will start coming HOME via FA. 🔁 KEEP + DEVELOP high-EQ youth > panic moves. We can find what we need for less.

  2. I like Giannis to the Raptors but if they don't have the assets and picks to be comfortable after the trade no point. CMB is high potential and worth keeping. And I'm up for trading Quick and Jak but they need a center immediately. I like Claxton on the Raptors, hes young and can add to the youth of the team

  3. Nobody mentioning Giannis history of calf injuries as a concern dating from 2024 Playoffs.

Raps are one of the few teams in contention that has all their draft picks.

  4. ‪Sabonis is the answer for the Raps. They struggle with Zone defenses.‬
‪He has elite rebounding and is a Zone defense buster with his high basketball IQ and playmaking from the top of the key which would open up better shots for the Raps.‬

  5. With Giannis not having come here when he could've signed as a free agent, I wish nothing but competitive misery for him. We have a fun interesting team this year. Tweak if you must, but I'm not giving up the farm for a guy who didn't want to be here when he should have.

  6. Definitely a No! Why would a team that struggles shooting the 3 ball sell everything just to get back another player who can’t shoot the 3?

  7. Too injured. Bucks have won one (one!) playoff series since the championship, he's never 100%. Becoming ADish. With all those recurrent calf injuries, achilles is always possible…then you lose him for a year plus with no guarantee he will come back close to 100%, ever. To get him, you'll need to give up all the picks, and much of the core for…hurt the rest of this year and hopefully healthy next year. Then he could be gone. How about enjoy Scottie and CMB develop, and look for a superstar in a couple of years. Rushing and mortgaging for an aging 'cross your fingers daily' injured guy is soooo…Knicks.

And u two morons are saying sloppy barnes is off limits…yall are supposed to be professional and all I'm hearing is let's go all in on "potential" no wonder no one subscribers to ur crap ass channel 😅😅😅😂😂😂

  9. Inject those Trey Murphy + Yves Missi trade rumours into my freakin veins. That young core would be insane

  10. Bucks don't want a full rebuild because they don't own most of their own picks so the dude on the right is wrong. Best trading partner for Bucks would be Spurs for picks and young, cheap talent. That's a dynasty in the making.

  11. The issue is the constant calf injuries. If it works for another team great. But a young team with a lot of future, he goes down again and it's worse than just a calf injury, all picks gone? Knock on wood he doesn't tear an achilles but we'd still have to find shooters for the bench and another starter that can shoot if IQ goes. Its tough… he would lift our defense and offense, but against great shooting teams, we'd still see the same issues now.

  12. Play Bucks GM for a minute. Who on the Raptors would you want for Giannis. Probably only 2 players ( Barnes/ Ingram). NOBODY else. Raptors aren't a real trade option for Bucks. There is far better options.

  13. I could see Celtics offering Tatum and additional pieces for Giannis. Brown/ Giannis make Celtics top team in East. Brown's performance this season has made Tatum expendable. BUCKS get a top player in Tatum and can rebuild quickly with him. That is a good trade for both teams.

  14. Giannis is complaining about not having pieces around him to win. Raps have no real package/ players to offer for him. Let's stop the foolishness. Raptors should focus on Portis or Turner in a trade instead. They will be able to retain the services of Barnes/ Ingram. The only 2 players Bucks would want for Giannis.
