Was feeling optimistic for the new year but after one month I’ve lost my joy again, and I’m now embracing the tank. This draft class is too good to be a not good but also not terrible team. We gotta pick a side, and tbh with all the injuries and events that has happened already, the side has already been picked for us. Ie we need to become terrible. So let’s see what the front office does

We need to tank, but play to develop chemistry, continuity, and a system. We need to get everyone healthy, which means we need to play everyone limited minites. We need to find a new home for any player that is not a part of this teams future, and we need to be ready to train this summer with the team and our lottery player for renewed playoff success.

I’m on team jaren. He’s a good teammate and can be built around. Good citizen for the city. Dependable. These are not Ja qualities. I’m on team Jaren, quit trying to sabotage the future here
Jaren is that "good soldier" who deserves better than being made to be the Lauri Markkanen of the Grizzlies. And, a GM with any real integrity would work on getting him to a real, long-term contender especially if that same GM is going to continue to handle the coaching regime & roster like he did during the height of the Ja/Des/Jaren era.
Jalen Wells heard the talks on the last show and he turnt up this game. Please give him his props. He took the toughest defensive assignment and still was aggressive and contributed on offenses. Please don't just skip over that. I think Wells is going to surprise people with his growth. He is going to be a key role player for us along with GG (so glad he is getting minutes and finding his rhythm) Cam Spencer and Cedric Coward. We still have one of the best young cores to build around.
First half we looked intimidated physically. We need a vocal bruiser to install physical grit and confidence. That's when I miss Brooks

The fact that cam only had 1 turnover and 5 assists whilst being constantly hounded full court showed me how valuable he can be despite not being the most physically gifted player
