    The second round pick (from Celtics) may be in 2026. Bulls need a 2026 second round pick. Bulls currently don’t have a /2026 second round pick.

    Simons trade makes zero sense unless they’re going to resign him… I can see Simmons as a sweetener to get a 1st round pick from a contender and the Bulls taking on a bad contract for cap relief.

    BOS has NOP's 2026 second round pick. Maybe we added a second in order to get that NOP pick from BOS, which we can use to get Missi. Maybe Julian, the NOP pick and another second for Missi.

    As long as the Bulls don't extend Simons, I love this trade. Use that money to re-sign Ivey and/or another free agent. Simons can space the floor but is about as much of an empty calorie scorer as there is in the NBA. He holds on the the ball and dribbles to much as well. If he's on the same roster as Coby and Ayo after the deadline, there's no world where he should get minutes over them.

    Really hope this is "Vucevic for an expiring contract" and not Vucevic for a player AKME overpays to re-sign a non-winning player and pretends it's a free agent acquisition."

    “The consummate pro” thing annoys the hell out of me. Yeah he’s not a good defender but half the time it’s because he doesn’t give the effort on Defense. Our bar should not be he didn’t complain while we were bad, not only did he make 9 figures, he was grossly overpaid. Sorry, being well behaved don’t cut it, it’s not even accurate. When he wasn’t getting enough touches he would pout and his defensive effort would get even worse. He had the body language of a 12 year old girl who was disappointed with her birthday presents
