Jaylen Ivey TRADED Away | Pistons Fans Devastated

Today’s video breaks down the shocking and emotional trade of Jaden Ivey from the Detroit Pistons to the Chicago Bulls. This move hits different for the city of Detroit because Jaden wasn’t just another player—he was a symbol of hope, speed, and heart for this franchise.

With Ivey still dealing with his injury, this trade feels even more bittersweet. Pistons fans know what he brought to the court when healthy, and that makes this decision tough to swallow. In this video, I talk about what Jaden meant to Detroit, why this trade happened, and what it means for the future of the Pistons moving forward.

Detroit showed Jaden love, and that love isn’t going anywhere. Sometimes business moves don’t match the emotions of the fans, and today is one of those days.

Drop your thoughts in the comments — how do YOU feel about the Pistons trading Jaden Ivey?

  1. Detroit sport teams lack of movement at the trade deadlines are not good for our mental health…they never take the swings that are needed while everyone else is making all the moves…🙄

  2. Yeah seeing Jaden Ivey get dealt at the trade deadline was a gut wrenching blow. 😔

But unfortunately i think over half of the city of Detroit saw this coming from a mile away you could always tell by JI’s body language that something was off.

But it’s a business at the end of the day i just really hope that Chicago does right by him because we all know how much of a dumpster fire the Bulls are. 🤦🏻‍♂️

  3. This trade will humble the Pistons in the next 3 years. Ivey is going to be a beast and we just traded him for two bums 🤦🏾‍♂️

  4. I knew we would fold on making a championship contending move but to do this is just dumb. Who’s gonna set these guys up for a score if cades on the bench tired or banged up. Which he will be. Still no real leader on this team that won anything

  5. Its the Brad Holmes Syndrome Bro. We Good! This is a lackluster trade for sure. Until The Pistons Team Say we keeping this trade its a chance Hueter & Saric gets rerouted. Im a ivey guy, but i agree it had to be done.

  6. Money wise this was a who are they paying trade. Can’t give him 25 million a year with the unknown. Sucks but once Duran had an all star season it was curtains.

  7. I’m a huge Ivey supporter and still believe he will be special… but you’re 100% right King, the writing was on the wall. JB was awkward with his minutes and responses in post games; I’m no body language expert but JI didn’t seem to have the same energy and enthusiasm as the collective bench.

… but to trade him IN DIVISION for two bags of knock off Better Made chips? AND we keep Caris Levert??!!This is garbage.

  8. Very sad day, imo. But we really did have too many guards and Dani$$ will be our future now.

  9. What do you mean? Had they kept him throughout the season they take a gamble on him being injured again and not getting any value in return. Business and feelings don’t mix. I love JI but he was obviously not happy and you got guys around him that are dogs. No crying on the baseball field

  10. I feel they no more about his health than we do, and they know what his worth is more than us. I really liked him before the injury, and he’s a class act, but I really think this had to happen for we’re at as a team. But Great Guy

  11. I do believe that there’s more moves to come. We’ve been doing good before Ivey came back and I think we’re only going to get better. But he’s going to be missed

  12. Do you think they factored his attitude into the trade? You mentioned that how he was on the bench, maybe they didn’t think he fit the current culture. I wanted to keep him. He needed time to recover. We had nothing to lose to keep him. He’s going to do well. I hope not against The Pistons though

  13. JI is a true Man of God!!! Will deeply miss him. Don't like the trade at all. May the Good Lord continue to guide him.

  14. I hope another money is happening. LeVert, Hurter on a team together is mid. I think they still have the exception, but we got worse.

  15. You cant go King we love ✊️❤️ you been watching you since 😢 I was senior in high school now im 30 😂😂

  16. I’m guessing they couldn’t get anyone to take Levert. Ivys 3-ball percentage is higher than Heuters this season. Disappointed

  17. I was worried until I heard who we got. I like the trade. Needed shooting. Huerter is good. And got Saric too! Good stuff. Go Pistons! Was really hoping Jaren Jackson was ending up in the D. That would be siiiiick!

  18. This a lousy ass trade! Sound like something Troy Weaver would do.

Again, there's no guarantee the Pistons will get back to this point. Injuries can happen. Trajan isn't a great GM. Check his track record from New Orleans or Brooklyn! He's getting way too much credit for Detroit's success. The core was provided by weaver
