I really don't think Sabonis is a good fit in Toronto.
As a Raptors fan I think a much better fit for the Raptors would be Wendell Carter Jr, Myles Turner, Jay Huff, Donovan Clingen , Dayron Sharpe, Naz Reid, Kele Ware, Alex Sarr or even Jalen Smith.

Matt, you are wrong. You do not trade a Sabonis for that ridiculous contract and RJ without any draft picks as a matter of fact you don’t do it for less than two, i’d rather go into next season with Sabonis

I need at least two seconds just on principle. You can’t trade a way a Star for a non star and not get some type of draft capital that’s ludicrous.
The disrespect around the player that Ja Morant has already shown to be is INSANE. He's only 26 and we LITERALLY have an Uber Athletic guard in YEAR 18 HOOPIN that also had serious injuries.
Don't forget how an engaged Ja took a Memphis team on the brink of an early WCF birth. Sac isn't Memphis in terms of off the court issues. Russ would be a GREAT mentor for Ja.
If we only get 1 first for taking on Poeltl's contract and they get Sabonis, then we're gettin' fleeced. We know Sabonis is still good, but he's just not a fit in Sacramento anymore. They are getting the best player so they need to pay up or stop wasting our time.
