  1. This trade feels like it was much less about Jaden Ivey and Kevin Huerter and more about Jalen Duren, Ron Holland, and Daniss Jenkins. Ivey was in contract year and Duren is getting the bag. Jenkins playing too well to not keep him heavy in the 2nd unit rotation. Ron Holland has a higher ceiling than Ivey IMO but needs to develop IE minutes. Was either let Ivey walk or get something in return along with an asset to help keep young talent coming in. Tough call but makes sense.

  2. To the Bulls of all teams? So if Ivey goes off and torches our ass 4 times a year its gonna haunt tf out of Detroit. Maybe not, we'll see.

  3. Huerter is basically Duncan Robinson. He could have had more points if Chicago used him more. Saric has been a good player his entire career. Ivey will thrive in Chicago.

  4. Red Velvet is going to surprise you. I saw him here in the ATL for 4 years. That was when Trae Young was at his heyday. Cade will make KHurtuer Life so much better. Plus, he is 6'7 2/3. He is a sneaky good athlete.

  5. You all are missing the big picture. Jaden Ivey never contributed to winning basketball in Detroit. He was an okay stats bad team guy. He's also going to want a big payday. I wish we could get more for him but he isn't a good player.

  6. Kevin being a "3 point shooter" with 31% from 3…. LOL. Ivey was shooting 38% from 3 this year and 40% before the injury! Lame excuse for the trade.

  7. You're talking like Jaden Ivey was a starter, we traded a reserve player and got a reserve player back. Ivey isn't the player he was before the injury last year. We needed more shooting.

  8. We need shooting off the bench. Kevin is basically another Duncan Robinson. Ivey is injury prone and too inconsistent, btw Kevin isn’t that old he’s dead in his prime at 27. We need more shooting on this team period and Jenkins also makes this move kore comfortable. Gotta like the jump in the first round too

  9. You're going to love Kevin Huerter by the end of the year….a pure shooter with sneaky athleticism

  10. Pistons could use another white guy I guess. So might as well make him an outside threat just like Duncan. Hard to see Jaden go, though — he seemed like such a Piston. His ferocity is way down this year though. I think he wasn't fitting into the team dynamic except as a 2-way "spark" off the bench, which should not be his designation, and I don't think he looked as stoked to be a Piston in the last few weeks (even though this season and this team is looking pretty historic). He should be a starter somewhere, true. Will always be a fan.

  11. I just don't understand this trade, because we kept Killian Haynes bumb ass for like 7 years,I understand that he wasn't gonna resign him next year either but damn I liked his role this year coming off the bench but I guess he didn't

  12. People keep saying "Ivey wouldn't be back next year since the Pistons can't pay him, so this is a good trade." Ok, but the guys we RECEIVED for him won't be with us next year either, so does it really matter? We could've just stayed where we were at. Let's hope these new guys add something.
