  1. Sabonis isn't a PERFECT player, but he's a better fit for this lineup than RJ IMO. I agree with the team not being interested in paying up to keep RJ after his current deal, and I'd like to see them get something of value in return for him unlike has happened too many times over the past few years with other players. RJ's trade value is currently as high as it is likely to be. Best to sell high, unlike happened with Siakam and Anunoby…or lose for no return like happened with VanVleet.

  2. all i know is poeltl gradey and agbagi need to go before the trade deadline. aldama fo poeltl sounds good to me

  3. If you had to give up Grady or Jacoby, who do you keep? I think it's close. Grady's D has improved lately and I think I might take him.

  4. All Glory to God.
Thank you God for who you are. For being the one that Keep us all day to day. Raptors Fan.. in all things lets give the Lord the glory and thx he deserve.

Another scoring and shooting and just another big Body with playoff experience that's all we need

  5. Sabs trade ain't happening – cool your jets media.
Even to get under the number, giving 5 first round picks is dummee-ball, I believe BobbE DubbS knows better than getting a center who starts w/o giving up Jak, and taking on 40+ million next 2 or is it 3 years!
IMO – RJ for Sabs straight up ain't worth it. You can get more players who are more valuable, trading those assets off piece by piece.

  6. sabonis at his current age and inflated salary is not worth a 1st round pick… two 2nd rounds sure. gradey AND jakobe? hell no!! don't cave under pressure. kings are more desperate and will cave. if yak is scheduled to come back before the playoffs, no deal.

  7. I think I'd rather give up a first instead of a couple of seconds… second round picks in the next few years are going to be valuable because of the NIL money and a glut of of potential firsts staying in college. Those second round picks are firsts without guaranteed contracts…

  8. Bobby…. Don't do it…. We know you love dumping 1st rnder during a deep draft… Don't do it… Hell I'll even deal with Bamba for rest of season BUT FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY DONT DO IT!

Gafford, Smith, Sharpe pls don't get Fleeced by the Kings of all teams!

  9. I'll believe it when I see it! And as much as i love RJ.. if the raptors don't plan on extending him than it makes perfect sense to trade him now.. instead of him possibly walking for nothing like how FVV ended up leaving.

  10. I'd be talking to the Jazz right now:
    1 option: Nurkic, Love FOR Jak and Ogbaji + a 1st (2027) and a 2nd (2028).
    2 option: Flipowski, Love FOR Ogbaji, Lawson + a 1st (2027) Flipowski is worth a low (20's) 1st pick
3 option: Call the Bucks – send Walter, D!ck, Ogbaji, (2) 2nds FOR Portis and Anthony.

  11. Why do they need to get rid of Barrett ? Why can’t they trade poertl , 1st round pick, dick for sabonis ?

If we get sabonis and keep rj this team will be a contender

    Sabonis
    Barnes
    Ingram
    Barrett
    Quickly

  12. Michael Scotto: Domantas Sabonis trade talks between the Kings and Raptors, which would include RJ Barrett and Ochai Agbaji to Sacramento, have paused. Toronto is concerned about giving up too much first-round draft pick compensation to move Jakob Poeltl to a third team.

  13. Sabonis is 6'10 does not solve our center problem and is very expensive at close to 50 million per season. We need 7 footer or we will continue to get pounded around the rim by bigger teams and increase injuries to our forwards
we pit against other teams bigs

  14. This isn't the year, just be patient and get something done in the summer. We don't need to trade one of our most reliable players (R.J) for a guy who is injured.

  15. Why can't we just bring some center from euro instead of giving up RJ for sabonis ? RJ is the one of the key for raptors success

  16. DON'T give up a 1st. RJ, Gradey, Ochai & Temple and two 2nd round picks. Keep Poeltl (restrict his minutes upon return), and add Sabonis. That's a fair deal for both teams. RJ is a great player.
