  1. All the lame spurs fans commenting on thunder pages haven’t even commented on their own😂😂sick atleast get to a 2nd round before thinking about beating the champs never heard of a team not make the playoffs then win a chip

  2. Spurs dont need Alvarado. At all. They need Trey Murphy III. Alvarado may come with the package. Trading Sochan, Waters, and 2 picks

  3. Did he say if the spurs don’t win a championship this year ? They are not ready it’s not the spurs time yet

  4. Okay, you guys are just repeating what I have been saying all along, but I was saying it after the 1st month of assessing this current team. We need a guy to come in and hit shots, when the Spurs go cold in 3's. The Spurs flat out choke when they sense their shots are not falling and their confidence wanes.
You can see it in their eyes, like they are hoping it goes in. I know then and there, it's over.
The Spurs need a heater to come in and warm them back up when they cool off. Just like Heater Johnson for the old PIstons. Like Steve Kerr did for the Spurs against Dallas, hitting 4 3's in a row to turn the game.
Yes, there are guys out there who will do that. I've mentioned them on PTR Spurs. 1) Miami's Fontecchio 2) Boston's Pritchard 3.) Utah's Clayton (who just got traded to Memphis). They are available if the Spurs were serious. They are not. So here we are.
Also the Spurs need a backup to Kornet, as Wemby wants to roam the perimeter and not play his true position at the 5. Wemby plays like a 2/3. So we can pick up that next player in the 2026 draft, which should have the Spurs around the 12th pick.
I would hope that Brian Wright is smart enought to draft Hannes Steinbach, unless he's been in a cave for the last 5 months. Sometimes I wonder. If Steinbach goes, then the pick will be Florida's Thomas Hough. Only because Hough's ceiling is higher than Koa Peat.
In combination, of having let's say Fontecchio with Hough/Steinbach. That should be the last piece of the puzzle to put this team over the top. Whose going to guard who? Yeah, double team on Wemby, but leave Fontecchio open? Or Hough? Or even Steinbach? Heck, even Steinbach hits like 37% of his 3s pt shots, but is a post up master down low. Hard to cover a guy like that if your not properly guarding him. My fear is Fontechhio roaming around the 3pt line and no one is guarding him?? He's going to burn you everytime at 6'7" unguarded. Heck he hits like 38% of this 3's guarded but with the Spurs he will go way over 40%. I'm guessing 43% in 3's. That's not bad having someone come in off the bench, who can flat out shoot.
The Spurs should take Milan Momcilovic in the second round from Iowa State. I've never seen a guy hit 54% of his 3pt shots and he shoots a lot of them every game. He's also 6'8". He's expected to go 45th in the draft of which we have 2 picks before that time. This is a simple fix for the Spurs, if they are paying attention. Also, all these guys play for peanuts compared, as many are rookies or "other". Let's get them on this team and let the Chips fall.

  5. While yes the 3 point shooting is bad, I think for long term success we need a true starting PF. The teams are loading up on Vic and beating him up. We need another big that can post up and dish it so Wemby can play his elbow and free throw spots.

  6. Portis, Collins, OG, Aldama, MPJ, or jaden Mcdaniels by way of participation in the 3 team trade fotlr rhe Wolves getting Giannis.

  7. If we can get Cameron Boozer 6'9 250, Chris Cenac Jr 6'11 230, Hannes Steinbach 6'11 225 Washington, Joseph Tugler 6'8 230 Houston or Aday Mara 7'3 255 Michigan.

  8. OKC just traded for McCain from 76rs and plumlee from another trade.. Spurs are going to get spanked if they meet them in playoffs.. spurs needed a scorer like McCain and help from a big like plumlee.. OKC beat them to the punch.. OKC may not need them but kept them away from spurs. Assuming they were going to do anything.. SMH 🙄

  9. We don’t need guards. We need a 6’8” consistent 3 point shooter for SF and a 6’10” stretch 4/C that can shoot the three and block shots.

So Myles Turner or Bobby Portis/McDaniels
