Brian Windhorse just said that the Dallas Mavericks future is bright. How does that make sense when we do not retain any of our draft capital yes free agents are going to wanna play with Cooper Flagg, but in Dallas, we’ve historically struggled with retaining free agents not retaining but signing once they’re in Dallas and they see Dallas a lot of them resigned, but coming to Dallas is the problem to begin with we don’t nail those big-time free agents I’m hoping that Kyrie Irving gets back to being an absolute assassin for the next five years minimum on top of the fact that Cooper Flagg is is the best player in the league. Maybe we can attract a number two or three type of player that can really contribute and score and play defense. I mean Anthony Davis was the perfect fit for this team and these analyst are saying that right when we got Cooper Flagg nothing fit I don’t know. I don’t understand that. I think that this team was built pretty well to fit around every single piece that they had. I think Nico did a good job to make a well-rounded roster, but the negative media perception around Luca being traded from Dallas and the way that it was handled and whatnot. It was really done by the media, not by the organization, but regardless, because of that, Dallas was put in a very negative light by the fan base and the fan base want an Eco fired. They want Anthony Davis trade and that’s why Anthony Davis was traded. Not because Anthony Davis is not healthy or he can’t play. It makes no sense to trade Anthony Davis this season when next season you’re getting a high draft pick in the lottery. We are going to be screwed now unless we get another miracle in free agency.
AD, over 250+ injuries in his career. Everyone needs to stop the idea of him ever being healthy to help any team win a championship.
