  1. We simply couldn't offer what the Pacers offered for Zubac. Our firsts don't even have a chance to be lottery picks in the near future, nearly impossible for us to match that offer

  2. So trading out two players for zero players to the Nets and signing Amari leaves one free roster spot.

Will this further support rumors of trying to sign Lonzo Ball once he's expected to be released? It's a minimum salary that would make sense for filling guard depth.

  3. This group is not gonna spend money. They said all year there wasn't a mandate to duck under the tax line…..the only thing they accomplished was getting under the tax line. 😂😂. As usual don't judge people on what they say judge them on what they do.

  4. I think your comments on spending are a bit naive as the modern nba is about getting under the tax and cap periodically to maintain competitiveness
Even multi billion dollar loss would eventually still handicap the team and is unrealistic
Two super max contracts mean having cheap playable talent and perhaps making a move when a great opportunity arises and having the flexibility to

  5. Queta has been great but Vucevic is definitely starting especially when Tatum comes back. I think that Bobby and others in CLNS are overselling Queta too much. I personally don't think he is a long term starter until he improves his offensive game significantly but he's a great backup type center.

  6. You get under the tax now to be able to be spend and go over the tax in the coming years and avoid repeater tax. Get Tatum healthy and sign a big contract in the offseason for another run to the chip

  7. Anfernee's age puts him more on the timeline of Tatum and Brown, but Brad did that deal because he saved a ton of money on the deal, and got a similarly impactful offensive piece to Simons, and solved the rebounding challenge. They'll have that ton of money back over the next several years, to spend to compliment Brown and Tatum, so they have a better shot to get over the hump for another championship or two.

I definitely trust Brad's ability to balance the here and now with the future, and I think I trust Chisholm to spend the money when needed. This season has been a gift, and it makes me even more optimistic about the future.

I'm just a bit down that they gave up on Minot. Did he do something wrong in the last month or two? Or do they think his play was an illusion of being the right generic piece in their current system?

  8. I've been telling you all Year Bobby all they wanted to do was get out of the tax. You didn't want to hear it but that's what they did so they can keep white or brown and not have to trade them in 2 years😅

  9. All you have to do is look around the league and look how many teams dump players to get under the tax this year the new CBA is different

  10. Yall are so negative. The team is doing the best the front office is doing the best. They can All thus Debbie downer ass commentary is super losing me smh

  11. that pacers pick is very good. 5-9 this year, very high, very possible to convey. if it doesnt convey its a deep in the future unprotected 1st rounder. i dont think the celtics were close

  12. IF Tatum comes back this season. He’s coming off the bench. Part of the coaches job is putting the pieces on their place when and where that is. Has many factors. We’ve had some runs over the years and our younger guys stepping up. Is going to allow to save our more seasoned players. Vucevic Payton and Tatum for our second unit. Sign me up. I trust Joe, you should trust Joe.

  13. Vuc is a veteran. I don't know what Bobby is saying!? He's a starter and looking at HOU game, Joe's double big is back.

  14. What more do fans want? We have the 6MOY, an All-Defensive team guy, and two bonafide superstars. Pick any player to fill in those blanks and no one is worrying about winning in the playoffs. On top of that we have an athletic big and two stretch bigs and one of the best shooters in the league. Period.

Why are we mad because we aren’t spending more money? Why does that matter? We have a ridiculously good team.

  15. Brad gets my vote for exec of the year. This year is officially sub tax, and next year they will have 21m/y to play with when Vooch expires and still be under the tax next year. Right now, it loooks like JB JT RH DW NQ will be starters and PP HG AW LG off bench, plus whatever the draft and the 21m/y will buy us. This team is pretty good this year, will be even better next year, and after that Brad will have a free hand and JB JT PP DW NQ HG AW still in their prime. Well done, Brad.
