POSTGAME: Phoenix Suns Suffer EMBARASSING COLLAPSE To Warriors + Grayson Allen Injury UPDATE
The Phoenix Suns squandered a 14-point fourth-quarter lead to suffer an uncharacteristic 101-97 loss to a shorthanded Golden State Warriors team on Thursday. While Phoenix was without Devin Booker and Jalen Green, Golden State was without Jimmy Butler, Stephen Curry and a host of other players involved in its trade deadline movement.
Pat Spencer led the Warriors with 20 points, Gui Santos added 18 and De’Anthony Melton added 17 points, including the late layup to put the Warriors up for good. For the Suns, Dillon Brooks scored a game-high 24 points and Grayson Allen added 21 points before exiting early after an awkward landing.

Katastrophal. Die Suns werden mittlerweile am eigenen Korb dominiert. Immer wieder kommt es zu zweiten Chancen des Gegners. Das ist ein Problem.
Problem 2 sitzt auf der Verletzungsbank. Du hast 50 Punkte dort sitzen. Was ist los mit Jalen Green?
Problem 3: Die Suns führten komfortabel und bringen das Spiel nicht nach Hause. Sie sind das talentfreieste Team, wenn es darum geht am gegnerischen Korb zu einfachen Punkten zu kommen. Karl Malone, Shawn Kemp, Dirk Nowitzki, Tim Duncan, Pau Gasol. Was wurde früher auf die unterschiedlichste Art und Weise am Brett schon gescored. Heute und gerade bei den Suns sehe ich absolut gar nix. Oso spielt Fehlpässe. Er steht 2m vor dem Korb und will nochmal passen. Gillespie und welcher Guard auch immer den Korb attackiert, wird geblockt oder nimmt schwierige Würfe. Ich verstehe Ott nicht wieso seine Rookies mit Größe und Spannweite nicht eingesetzt werden. So wie ich auch Greens Verletzungsstatus nicht mehr verstehe. Wenn Cole Anthony und Amir Coffee eigene Würfe kreieren können, katapultiert es sie direkt in die Starting 5 als First und Second Option. Man stelle sich vor, die Suns hätten noch Kennard geholt. Man kann ja von diesen Shootern nie genug haben. Tatsächlich haben die Celtics eine Saison erfolgreich so gespielt. 63 3PA März 2024 Reguläre Saison. 60 3PA Playoffs Mai 2025. Den Rekord halten die Rockets mit 70 3PA, 2019.
So wie gegen die Clippers kommst du auf zu wenig Punkte. Gegen die Clippers war man komplett kalt in Halbzeit 1. Lächerliche 43 Punkte. Gegen die Warriors führst du in den letzten 7min deutlich und triffst nichts mehr. Jordan Ott war nicht in der Lage 5 Punkte in den Schlussminuten zu erzwingen. Lächerliche 5 Punkte. Freiwürfe, Bullyball, Center-Spiel. Nix. Das ist so frustrierend anzuschauen. Da kann ich nur hoffen, dass in der Sommerpause 2026 diese Skills trainiert werden und der Kader mit passenden Spielern ergänzt wird, die das gewährleisten. Wohlgemerkt sprechen wir von einer Ergänzung. Die Suns müssen diversifizieren. Sie sind zu eindimensional mit ihren Distanzwürfen. Auf Gedeih ubd Verderb abhängig. Keine Flexibilität. Nix.
Ott has been great most of the season. He gets totally out coaches though vs experienced coaches like Kerr, Spol, Snyder etc. I'm glad you guys were angry about it, I thought you wouldn't be. I was furious. They played down to their opposition. Will get over it tomorrow. Karl in Thailand.
We needed some offense and adjustments around 7 minutes mark and Mark Williams should been put back in for few minutes for offense.
Take away Otts and Brooks coach and player awards for that performance
Oso is playing timid basketball. Not once in the 4th did he set a screen and find a spot on the floor to receive a pass and score. The chicken wing floater in the lane has to go. Either drive to the basket hard and get to the free throw line, or work on the mid range game and become a reliable pick and pop option. This coach is too 3 point happy and relies on hero ball late in games and he's not getting his bigs involved enough.
Booker is soft as tissue
Where are the tough cops when you need them. All these cops were soft on these pedos.
Why are you only talking about the last Suns possession??? The last 4 minutes of the game was basically Brooks going 1 on 5 just about every offensive possession!!!

You guys referenced effort, energy and being flat so much. Where did you see that? Offensive creation in the 4th was awful w/o Book and Green. But effort?
