  1. I live in ATL and never been a hawks fan until this trade. The warriors gave up JK for a sickly injury prone train wreck. Hard to remain a fan of their’s with dumb moves like this.

  2. not only that…they most likely lost any respect from Draymond (whether it was right or not to trade him)

  3. JK and Buddy were doing nothing for the Warriors. I do not know the Porzingis contract situation but I suspect they take a huge gamble with his contribution vs having not real attempts for A short playoff run. If 30 in the lineup with shooters then they can win games. When Curry retires all cap space cleaned up and lots of draft picks vs betting the future over now. If JK could have provided value when Curry was on the floor we would have seen it in 4 years. Easy to blame Kerr but Santos and Spencer show what players can do given even a little time. Love JK but not as a star in the NBA. Offense = yes, defense and rebounding and position play = NO

  4. These are all the same guys that said Butler did not fit the Warriors. Warriors management team is among the best there is. Who else stays relevant for 10 Years, 6 finals. It is about the right pieces around Curry.

  5. Morning the NBA should be Ashamed of them did you see the game between Warriors and the Suns

  6. Even with this great win. I still feel that the Warriors need to FIRE STEVE KERR NOW! Warriors need a Defensive minded head coach. Fire Steve Kerr NOW!

  7. Horrible trade, why do we trade away our young talent when they become ready? Kerr, dray, and jimmy need to go. Every year, we get older. We should have pivoted to myles turner, the dude we should have got a few years ago.

  8. kerr insisting that kuminga cant play but keeps playing podz. who cant play but is smaller, less athletic and more useless.

  9. I disagree completely. Even if Porzingas doesn’t play, at least you don’t lose sleep over bad decision making by Kuminga. Plus, Buddy is gone, and he barely made an impact due to his inconsistencies. I am looking towards a blockbuster summer for Dubs. Forget Giannis, I am sure you can get a decent tall player at some point. Another year gone, though, it sucks. But, take a bit of time to get healthy and let’s go!

  10. What's also disappointing is that when the Bucks rejected the warriors offer, they really didn't have a plan B. Ramona Shelburne reported that triple J was offered to the Dubs… But they ultimately rejected him because they were waiting on Giannis 😂.

This FO never wants to make super risky moves, involving their picks. They wanted the Ez-No Brainer home run swing ( Giannis) or they pivoted to the safer "if this talent works, awesome, if it doesn't, we free up cap space in the summer" in Porzingis 😂.
KP is amazing when he plays, but we can't actually rely on his production on a consistent basis. Just ask hawks fans. Most of them convinced themselves " if he can stay healthy, we will be a top seeded team".

  11. Long COVID is chronic, his job makes it literally impossible for him to completely recover from it. Yes, POTS is a symptom of long COVID.

It’s chronic, which means it is ongoing, and the treatments are hit and miss, meaning that if they haven’t fixed it for him by now, it means a very slow and long road to healing. Recovery time is his main problem, he can perform for short bursts of time, but he needs extended periods of time to recover from every basketball performance. His healing gets stopped or delayed everytime he plays basketball.

KP’s job literally makes it impossible for him to get better and he needs to get better to do well at his job

  12. This is the third year in a row that the Warriors have made a desperation trade move after insisting that they will never make desperate trade moves.

Reminder that Buddy and Kuminga were the two highest scorers in the playoffs last year after Steph and Jimmy

  13. Further evidence that the second most important person to GSW's prior success was Bob Myers

  14. I said it once, and I'll say it again. GSW front office is trash. I hope Atlanta can teach him to playmake and play defense.

  15. 😂 a 7’2 all star for who’s injury prone for a 6’something forward who’s a bust who’s also injury prone…seems like a upgrade if you have common sense.

  16. Ridiculous trade. Give up on two young players like JK and TJD for a once good center but now a shell of himself. Dunleavy is not a good GM. Kerr doesn’t like bigs anyway. Porzingas will live on the bench.

  17. Even if Porzingus is perfectly healthy and plays well, he’s a free agent. Dubs are dumb AF.

  18. Dunleavy got desperate after the Bucks pulled GA out of the sweepstakes. The Warriors had until 12pm pacific standard time to make a trade. IDK! Lacob should fire Dunleavy. Kerr should ride off into the sunset.

  19. Damn! I love the alternative narrative of Onsi Saleh coming up through the same org tree as Kerr, but with the benefit of Bob Myers tutelage. The Kuminga Saga is deeper than we even knew and much more entertaining!

  20. Developing Kuminga…
Folks! The dude is 23 years old! When is he going to start playing? Until he's 35?!

  21. Fire Kerr and Dunleavy. Kerr single handedly destroyed JK careet at the Warriors. He never developed any players the Warriors drafted. Every Dunleavy's trade makes Warriors worse. Joel Lightyear is a joke. He should sell the team, takes the money, moves south and buys the Padres

  22. What the fk is this, Who the FK is Tingus Pingus, I've never even heard of latinya 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  23. “flashed superstar potential”? Come on Swish, that’s just a lazy take. Can’t shoot, bad handle, mediocre d (at best), unwilling to hustle without ball. He’s a classic 20 point scorer on bad teams.

  24. Karma is a b….. "For there to be a demand, there has to be demand". After the '98 championship MJ post game interview said that there is no guarantee in having success if you break up the Bulls. He said the Cubs were in the wilderness for 42 and suggested that could be the Bulls. I called that "GOAT" mouth. Chi has not had much success since MJ. Dunleavy utterance regarding JK and subsequent trade for KP and lack of player development just ended GSW chances to put a viable product on the floor to compete for a championship. It's a gamble only because of KP's health concerns.
I wish JK well, he only wants to be great and could have been if only in the right system. GSW been my team since Steph but I don't care much what happens to them anymore

  25. This is not a splash. Once the deal with Giannis fell through, the only thing left is to move Kuminga for a useful piece. As soon as Butler got injured, the season is pretty much lost anyway. Kuminga has upside but it's an illusion. He's poor on defense and can't play team offense. You'll find out soon.

  26. Kuminga might be part of an interesting Hawks. His revenge will get awkward.
On the bright side, the experiment of Tiny Ball (4 to 5 guard lineups) did win tonight. It's fun to see on the (rare) occasions it works.
