Just need time to gel they should bring everyone back except for Pat will and miller bulls has ton of cap space next year they should sign a star player or trade and get another big man just incase Collins or smith gets injured both do get injured fast
hot take but in the 2024 draft i rlly wanted us to get dillingham and got upset when the spurs took him, and dgmw i loved matas when we did draft him, but now i think those 2 as a duo have a great chance to become smth scary in the league given the time for both to develop, and maybe we'll even get a high draft pick for someone like caleb wilson who we can develop alongside matas and rob
All the moves were fine, the one that pushed fans off the edge was Ayo (but you may as well let Ayo get playoff experience). You're right – it's a guard audition, if they're truly sneaky rebuilding then they'll need to work out who they keep (and if they flip Tre for a FRP at draft night). It's really nice to have a player like Sexton for an energy guy (I see him as the DT replacement/upgrade), so good that they had him mic'd up too.. constantly talking and directing flow.
Also, when was the last time you saw Bulls players dive around the floor that much? Good 3 quarters and tank L in the 4th. 29 more of these!
Ps. Kind of hoping Giddey/Tre/Stix are shut down for the season since they all have hammy/calf strains.. not need to rush them back.

Dudes, I gotta admit most of the players we got in are athletic AF and a blast to watch–and way underrated from 3. Add Giddey to the mix, to orchestrate the crew of freaky athletes, and Matas and we got a seriously entertaining team. Even the fringe players (Yuki & Mac) bring the wow. Of course we need a big, but the big question's how to we find the playing time to see who'll breakout in their new home…AND whether we can sign them.

The sad part is the Bulls front office still won’t fire Billy after six years of mediocre coaching. They’ve wasted a lot of talent over the last 5–6 years by believing he could turn this team into a contender. Meanwhile, look at the Hornets now — nine straight wins and already ahead of them in the standings.
I don't want my Bulls to play for the lottery. The lottery is rigged 💯 and we just need to pick right and then develop them. Rather lose in the playin or the playoffs 💯🥶

I have been so down and distant from the Bulls….until they regrouped with better talent this past 10 days. they needed a reboot so give them a chance to get it together.
All these guys have something to prove and hustle. Now they get playing time raise their value and trade for meaningful pieces for next year
I didn't like the trades at first either. The Bulls always give their best players away, so I'm not surprised. But after watching the first few games, I like the energy and what these new guys bring. I hope the management lets these guys get a lot of minutes, hoop out, and play to their strengths. At the least it's going to be fun to watch, and they were likely just going to get bounced in the play-in game again as usual. Still not a fan of the coach, gm, and owner.
As Piston fan it hurt to lose Ivey, wishing him the best, people know about the broken leg but a lot of people don’t know that he is also recovering from a knee injury he sustained at the start of the season, he will get his burst back during the summer but in the meantime he’s become a pretty reliable 3pt shooter
They suck, 0-2 a new face team. A bunch of expiring contracts. At least we have giddey and buszelis. Team is trash.

They only look better because they are indeed a "hodgepodge of players thrown together" no one has played or scouted yet. Same as the "new look Bulls" that ended last season 22-5 and began this season 5-0, then proceeded to be…the Bulls. Don't expect anything more until AKME goes or drastically changes there tune, and/or Billy takes a walk.
Of course they do, Bulls can’t even pull off tanking right. Whole front office should be fired and not allowed to have any part in the rebuild.
as much hate as Billy Donovan gets he's still a damn good coach. especially now when he has a collection of young players, it's a lot easier to buy in to the coach philosophy than having a squad full of veterans

Ever start dating somebody and for the first two weeks everything is sunshine rainbows, and you can see the whole life with them? This is where we’re at. Then the red flags start to show. Now your second guessing yourself.
That’s this team. I would be surprised if they went 9 games for the rest of the year. I love the Bulls, but this is admin rolling out a shiny new toy that isn’t any different than others to sell product. I’m happy they took a lead to rebuilding but it’s 5 years too late. Bulls will continue now to be top 5 in ticket sales and Reinsdorf will continue not too care.
