Bagley has the opportunity of the lifetime right now on the Mavs. Mavs one of the few teams in the league that doesn't force their big men as Jump shooters so everything is simplified right now for Bagley. The main thing is how he and Flagg look next to each other on the court but he had great energy tonight. Something missing since Lively been out.

I didn’t know Canadian Jesus was on the spurs hmm. Coop at SF Bagley at PF and D Live at C man that’s a nightmare defense for anybody trying to attack the paint and if coop and bag can make their 3 pt shots serviceable that’s a mismatch on offense also

I didnt know bagley was this quick. Coop will be fine.. But 5 straight!
Bagleys chance to stick in Dallas will depend on his defensive effort. He kind of reminds me of Christian Wood in a way, he is talented enough to always put up offensive numbers but Wood lost his Mavs spot and ultimately his NBA spot because he couldn't consistently defend or be where he was supposed to be. I really hope Bagley goes the other direction and becomes a valuable piece of the Mavs.
His stat line could've even way better too he missed some point blank shots, a dunk, and lots of free throws. They need to elevate Tyus to just be starting. Coop/Max/Naji are not point guards and the offensive organization was so bad. He's already played with Bagley and Gafford before and is basically the vet version of Nemby. Also if DP hangs it up Bagley is the natural youth replacement and honestly regardless we should look to keep him if this is the effort we're getting
