While the mix of the youngsters and the vets did Sactown proud this Saturday night and they took another one on the chin, we have reason for optimism in the near future. 😎👍🏾

Can’t stress enough that coaching has been an issue in Sacramento for awhile now. Doug is not a winning coach tbh. Better off as an assistant instead and there’s really no more excuses to be made. He’s been a developmental coach on the squad for 6 years now and now that he’s head coach he still has no clue which line up to stick with. The young guys balled out just so Doug gets greedy for a W and went right back to what wasn’t working all season. I also don’t know whose teaching defense on this team as well because warranting a double team every single time has also crippled 3 pt defense since the Mike Brown era here seems like a Doug defense thing tbh. I don’t know what Doug wants to be exact you either wanna have the young guys close or just sub in Demar and Russ to win the game with stagnant offense with no defense in mind. It’s just hard to be a Kings fan at this point they need the owner to sell this team and restart with a new organization.
Cavs fan here Kings youngs look promising i couldn't watch the game but I was able to listen and the Kings would just answer right back now to be fair we don't know how good Harden will be with this team with actual practice since this game was basically a feel-out period for Mitch and Harden. That being said Kings looked good hope your young core has a brite future.

Really fun game watching the kids play and I agree with you they should have been allowed to win it or loose it. Plowden looks like he can be a piece that might be able to stay, Carter might be a rotational guy but not much more and that's ok this team needs those too. Happy for Keon I think he is a solid pick up for Clevland and as far as DS is concerned sorry it didn't work out here I think the Westbrook signing sealed his exit. Lets hope they don't set a new franchise mark or tie it at 15
That was classic Russell Westbrook at the end of the game. Three missed 3 pointers and a horrible turnover when you needed a bucket. Russ had a great game overall. 21 points. 5-10 from three. 9 assists. Also had 7 total turnovers and was 0-2 from the line. Russ looked like he was energized because he was going against his old teammate Harden playing his first game with a new team and Schroder and Ellis were back after just getting traded. You can bet that Russ wanted to ruin all that for the Cavs. Russ was locked in and competing. The Kings got their money's worth out of Westbrook last night, so you got to take the good with the bad. This is why Russ was let go from the Nuggets. This is why he wore out his welcome with the Lakers. Russ plays hard but ehh, he's just not a winning player in crunch time anymore. If you were trying to make a point with this video that Russ played bad at the end to preserve the TANK, I think you are wrong. Russ was trying to win the game, and he just couldn't do it. Harden and Mitchell were taking over and Russ, a former MVP, tried to match them and he couldn't. I'm not a Kings fan so I had never seen Clifford before. Neither had the Cavs coaches and players I'd imagine. Be careful how high you get with his great performance. This is sort of like how in the NFL, the backup QB comes in and does great, but when the backup becomes the starter, it doesn't look that good. That's because the other teams are aware of you and can at least game plan against you, it gets harder to deliver like Clifford did last night. Clifford has a lot of potential and who knows. It gets harder to show out when other teams adjust and game plan for you. If it wasn't for how well Russ played early on, you wouldn't have even been in the game at the end.

Yep I was pissed when they subbed in Russ for crunch time and took Carter out. Russ immediately missed a few bad shots and then had a costly turnover. Really disappointing end of game management by Doug Christie.👎
Read the room, Matt. This fan base wants two things: playing time and development of the young players, and the best odds of getting a top draft pick. Last night was the PERFECT game. Great play from young players, but no damage done to our draft odds. Calm down, Matt.
