DISAPPOINTMENT: Orlando Magic’s missed chances EXPOSE team falling short of potential
The Orlando Magic continue to show flashes of the potential that made the team a darling pick in the Eastern Conference this season. But they continue to stumble and struggle to put all the pieces together.
Miscues and a hot-shooting night from the Milwaukee Bucks allowed them to make the plays down the stretch and steal a win from the Magic at the Kia Center. Orlando again was left wondering how to make the most of their talented roster.
This came as Desmond Bane made a career-high-tying eight 3-pointers and delivered exactly what the Magic were hoping to get from him when they invested so much to acquire him last summer.
The Magic are still not getting enough from star Paolo Banchero and the returning Franz Wagner to win consistently. The team is still falling short of their expectations and potential.

From 6 minutes in 4th, should of been jalen, bane , black. Franz , goga. Seems like they are unwilling to set palo when the game is on the line n they need defensive stops. Palo has on D n he's soft in the paint. Mosley needs to go
Philip who are you trying to fool exactly? This game showed you we have enough? Do you understand who we were playing against? Even if we somehow won this game everyone should be ashamed that it was that close to begin with. Weltman missed the chance to get Cam Thomas and he killed you on a tanking team because your "coach" can't read and react tactically. He's incapable of managing a team, a young group that seems lost under his guidance. No, Mosley isn't a great motivator, not anymore. We've seen too much of this this season, and if he had even a little bit of self respect he would quit. I get it, he won't give up his money, fair enough. It is Weltman's job then to thank him, pay him, and fire him because this can't keep happening. What else do you need to see to understand we're not going anywhere with Mosley?
At what point is P5 a liability for the team? Body language and mentality looks poor and that affects the team negatively.
Franz has a more team friendly approach hence why we are better with Franz without P5

Phillip I’d like to address the physical limitations of PB. I’m not saying he isn’t in shape (he isn’t in shape) but he has no lift. That’s why he cannot shoot jumpers, why he is struggling finishing at the rim, and why he is struggling on defense. You have to talk about this and ask him and Mos what the heck is going on.
Imagine if Paolo had just two handed that dunk when they were tied instead of trying to get cute? Man they blew this one.

Magic got beat by a team without there best player and a guy that just got waved. Magic have no speed on defense. If you play quick you beat them
The fact that the Magic lose to teams they should beat and cannot beat teams with better records means a coaching and GM change are needed. Coaching because the scheme and preparation are terrible and GM because Weltman is horrific in roster management and trading.
We keep waiting for everyone to get healthy. We keep waiting for the team to gel. We keep waiting for for Paolo's game to back to what it was. We keep waiting for Franz's 3 point shot to get to league average. We keep waiting for Dell to dominate the middle. We keep waiting for a point guard. We keep waiting . . . and waiting . . . and waiting.

PRR stay making excuses for this team. It's your job and that's what you're paid to do, but it becomes insufferable after awhile.
Well at least the Bane trade was a success. He is clearly our best player
