Although he doesn’t have playoff experience, he does have experience in championships in France and in addition he was at the Olympics. He knows how to perform on big stages.

I'm Spurs fan since 1991 also. I'm going to be biased and say we're legitimate contenders for sure but on a basketball point, we're probably a year or two away. Just like how the Thunder's core took about 2-3 years before winning it all last year. Just like Mike Malone said in this video, we're ahead of schedule so it's exciting.

If you think who might beat them in the West — Nuggets, Rockets, OKC in the west, maybe LA at full strength …they've been able to handle them already, more or less. It really depends less on Wemby and more on their three guards being able to shoot consistently. Vic can get his 25/10 any time, but if Fox/Castle/Harper can each get 15-20 then all bets are off.
