When the other team makes every shot, it’s because of your defense (or lack thereof). You can’t just say “oh well”, you have to hold your team accountable
This loss has nothing to do with being tired. Sixers have no depth anymore. Maxey and others were chucking up terrible shots and no one was passing. Sixers played hero ball while the Knicks trusted their teammates and looked for the open man. Morey killed the team.

For a team with a shallow bench why would they trade McCain? Now they have NO bench and the starters play WAY too many minutes compared to other contending teams. Embiid not playing is an absolute embarrassment to the leage and the franchise. I doubt they'll be anything other than a play in team or first round exit. To lose at home by 49 to a rival is pathetic!
Sixers ownership is trash they are all after money. How do trade a young valuable bench piece when you have a shallow bench then Darryl Morley saying they have a deep team it is laughable. They try to avoid the luxury tax by trading a potential young player away. This is a complete disregard and disrespect to the fan base

Despite everything, there's one big thing that we gotta give credit to Nick Nurse… it's how he empowered Tyrese Maxey. Since he took over, he chaperoned Maxey's transition to full-time point guard AND he made him the team's captain!! I love the way he talks, never too low, never too high… He always looks long term, doesn't long too much on losses
I have to commend Maxey for keeping his head high, steady, structured when he is faced with embarrassment regarding the team. His attitude and contribution is very rare.
