  1. Agree OKC are the faves. But regarding them having a Gap with the Pistons on D: OKC's defensive rating was CRAZY the first three weeks, which is why they are still (barely)no.1 in defense rating. . From November 13 until now Detroit has had a better Defensive rating. I understand the hesitation with Detroit,. I have concerns as well, but there my be something unique cookin' there this year.

  2. I keep seeing people bring up that the Nuggets are 24th in defensive rating. They aren't really though. I haven't seen anyone make the obvious point that Aaron Gordon has missed half the season so far. Denver is 10 points per 100 better on defense when Gordon is on the floor. If he's out there for 30+ mpg, that takes them from 24th to significantly better. The concern is whether he'll stay healthy in the playoffs. But if he is healthy, they're not going to actually be as bad on defense as they've looked.

  3. Lifelong spurs fan. Spurs could get knocked out in first round or make WCF. But yeah I don’t think they pull it off this year. Soon though. Great experience year though.

  4. Nuggets vs Raptors final.

I know most NBA fans are Americans, so they write off the Raptors immediately, but they are playing well over any expectations, play a completely different style of basketball than any other NBA team, and are coached exceptionally well, plus Scotty Barnes is super clutch, the all-star game proved that.

I think the Raptors are going to catch a lot of teams off guard in a seven game series, they compete like no other team right now, they work like dogs out there on the floor.

  5. It's either the Pistons or the Knicks will most likely come out of the East against either OKC or San Antonio.

  6. so when talking about denver you disregard injuries even though they been banged up ALL year but when it comes to the spurs you wanna take away from them due to injuries strange.

  7. So everyone that’s probably going make it to the second right is a contender and has a honest chance … that’s good continuity tbh

  8. Cavs added Harden, removing their team from the contenders list of everyone who is not a casual. Spurs are Finals bound where they will take the Celtics in six. It is too early for the Spurs, but not for the Pistons? How much playoff experience do the Pistons have?

  9. If you want to to see the real difference in why the Piston are better than most think, they are basically +6 on your favorite team because of steals which turn into dunks.

  10. A bit crazy saying that the spurs are not higher because wemby is injury prone but on the other side telling that it's not a factor for okc or denver when most of their players are or were injured during this season so far.

  11. Ah the ole “a team I like is doing poor in the regular season so I’m just going to say they don’t care about it” take, that’s a good one

  12. I think the Spurs to me are like the Thunder 2 seasons ago. It's all about Wemby though, whereas the Thunder feels like a more complete team. Hopefully the big man stays healthy because they could have a very special team down there for the next decade.

  13. Yea you don’t watch the spurs. The spurs are better without Vic than any of these other teams are without their stars.
OKC without SGA, DEN without Jokic, NY without Brunson, DET without Cade are all worse than the Spurs without Vic.

You don’t watch games and it shows

  14. To be honest, Wemby has had one real injury in his 3 years that cost him significant time and my dude got karate kick by Podziemski. The blood clot is not a basketball injury.

  15. OKC, Denver, And San Antonio Are The Only Contenders In The West

Boston, New York, And Cleveland Are The Only Contenders In The East
