I love this move because now we can counter the big lineups that Houston, Denver and Minnesota can throw at us. Also, he can give us a lot of what we get from Luke Kornet which makes him an upgrade over Bismack Biyombo.
My hope is that we continue to monitor the waiver wire and try to pick up a vet shooter late before the playoffs start.
When I first saw CB, not impressed. But man was I wrong. Usually, I'm not that wrong. He's looking fantastic. When everyone left Castle for Harper. I was right on that one. Harper's great, but I'd take Castle's determination in a heartbeat.

As long Mitch plays Bryant more minutes and actually plays Plumlee, I feel a lot better because we needed rebounding

I also kind of hope that Plumlee can be an enforcer when teams get a little too handsy with Wemby. Plumlee has been kind of unhinged recently 😂, like when he started a fight with Steven Adams, the big 🧸 who possibly saved him from serious injury.

Please. Mason Plumlee hasn't played in a long, long, time. He's only there for 10 days. He won't even get a seat on the bench or the plane. He'll have to drive his car to the games. The Spurs are 2nd round at best. They still can't shoot, averaging 28% on FG% and 23% on 3's. They can't even find a consistent FT shooter. Without a player who can consistently shoot the rock, they are going to go down like Niagra Falls. All they have are a bunch of athletic guys who can move towards the basket in a hurry and a really tall guy who can dribble and block shots.
As you saw against Cleveland, it didn't take long for the Spurs to fall apart when they could nothing else but force the ball up the middle and try to make a circus shot. Cleveland just waited for them to take the bait and crushed them in the 4th Qtr (AGAIN). NY did the same at that goofy Emirates tournament.
Once you pressure SA to shoot, it's over. They will loose to a more balanced team. But, that could change next year when they finally see their major flaw. So far they are ignoring it. OH well. Let it play out.

Sorry but how is the a solid move? We basically replaced Sochan with an older taller cat. Let's stop sugar coating it NY fleeced us for nothing in return. Khris Middleton should been da obvious pick up We need shooters esp when Barnes or Champagne go on slumps. There better b another signing or roster change.
