i really hope we keep diawara for the long term, hes a great player, but i definitely think sohann should get minutes over him – hes a defensive monster.
They shoukd DEFINITELY play Mo! Give him 5 minutes per game whatever, the boy is the future of the knicks
clarkson, duece, kolek, yabu minutes going forward will be GTA, Shamet, diawara and sochan.
Suchan is gonna play back up Center! Time for the Big lineup! Kat,Mitch and OG! Suchan,Diawara and Shamett! Bridges and Hart at SG Brunson and Jose at PG! 10 man rotation unless Duece comes back.
This would be my starting 5 in the Knicks matchup vs Detroit: Brunson, Hart, Diawara, Sochan, and Towns. Allowing Diawara to replace Bridges in the starting lineup for the small forward spot. Coming off the bench: Bridges, Alvarado, Shamet and Mitch Rob in a 9 man rotation. Do you agree?
Considering that we haven't had a single game with sohan yet I would say yes you're overthinking it just a little bit.
I mean it's interesting hypothetical content but as of right now that's all it is hypothetical.
I'd be interested to see where we land after we play Detroit tomorrow given that our starting rotation has been ineffective against them up until now and we have a couple of dogs now that we didn't have before.

I like Diawara! At 6'9" and a 7' wing span with good ball handling skills, can create his own shots on the floor, good 3 pt. shooter for his size. Pretty good defensive player at 20yrs. old. He's a sleeper and a keeper! Waiting for Dink Pate to make his Knicks NBA Game Debut! 😀
Leon Rose has a tough decision which knicks players will be released or traded for next year.

Your over thinking it Duece is traded this summer almost guaranteed and losing his money helps to sign both Mo and Sochan. Plus if Mitch leaves via FA we wont have need to worry about a money problem
Robinson, Shamet and Diawara have all earned an extension and Dadeit's team options for the next two seasons should be declined.
Diawara is the future so I'm not concerned..same goes for anyone under 25 on this team including the G league..Leon is playing chess not checkers… Playoff ready championship goal..build for the future..GO KNICKS!!
