  1. I never understood why we were going for Sabonis. He's not a needle mover at all. He's a overrated bum.

  2. No, unless we give away one 2nd pick and maybe Walter or temple. but knowing the raptors are a home depot Fix/repair players and make them back to all star level, highly likely they will send out sadly Quickly during the offseason for Sabonis +fillers.

  3. N but it really depends on what they will do with Yak. Are they trusting, by the off season, that Yak's back is OK for the duration of his contract? I also suspect that instead of trading away IQ (the other bad contract), they acquire a real PG and move IQ off ball as a way to get the best out of his bad situation. Whether Shed becomes the starter or not, an additional "real" PG will still be required. This off season will be the most interesting in a while as they have so much to deal with.

  4. You wanted Sabs – badly!
Not just me but lots of people said stay away … lots argued we need him because we need a backup center, showing an incredible lack of knowing to build a successful team through proper evaluations.

  5. Its dishonest that they didn't disclose this. They almost robbed us with deceit. Shame.

  6. Sabonis is not a championship center anyway. Same with Poetle. Poetle remains the weakest point for Toronto. With the improvement of Barnes and Ingram, we need to fix the center position and add a shooter. I am sure Barrett and maybe Quickly will continue to improve. Poetle will never get any better.
