Clingan is improving bit by bit. The things he needs are a go to shot on offense, a baby hook or something like it, hit his 3pt shots and to lose some weight. Clingan bulked up to get stronger. It impacted his speed quite a bi. In the offseason he needs to drop at least 20-30 pounds and focus on lean muscle mass. He is playing at over 310 right now and that means he tends to lumber along. He never will be fast, but he can be faster.
The idiots of Bleacher Report ranked him just 7th in the 2024 redraft. He might be the best rebounder in the league in his second year (and his numbers are getting bigger every month this season). They put a bounch of roll players higher then him (just Castle, and maybe Sarr might be stars). He is going to take 15+ rebounds, 15-20 points, 3-4 assists and 2 blocks per game in the near future.
If ClingKong gets that 3 to drop at 35+% and keeps getting aggressive on offense within 7ft of the rim then look out cause he’s gonna be a better version of Lopez easily.
Think he is underrated, he does have good hand-eye coordination, but with that comes a problem, many times when he uses them his hold on the ball is a little weak and other defenders can bat the ball away. Let's not forget this is only his second year, I giant leap, not sure if next year he will make the same kind of leap, but some would be great, especially in closing off 3 pointers if that what the manager wants him to do. His main weakness is defending against quick players, which for a centre makes sense. Overall I am very happy with how he has been playing this season, and love it when he starts to get angry and goes into hulk mode.

He's a beast
This the same guy that allowed 40pts and 17 rebs to Jarret Allen
he isnt a great perimeter defender but he knows how to use his size and speed and length to suffocate any shot when needed

He looks massive! Looks way bigger than 7' 2'', at least to me.
This NBA sophomore season as a 21 years old is a big jump from his rookie season. Good progress and good breakdown on that.
