Horry is a guy who always heavily relied on others to win championships. Never been a star, never had to overcome big pressure of a real leader, so he doesn’t know what he's talking about. He lost an opportunity to behave intelligently and say nothing about Vic. Typical old bitter player who has never been a star
Robert Ori lives in Houston right? As long as he lives and works in Houston, he's always going to have shady takes towards San Antonio. His viewer base are Rockets fans, so he's always going to say Hakeem Olajuwon, he's always going to throw shade at the Spurs, because rockets fans hate the spurs and Robert already knows what rockets fans like to hear. If Robert already lived and worked in San Antonio full-time you would see the narrative would be completely pro San Antonio Spurs every time because that is the base he would be playing to.
Vic would rather win the championship this year with 18 pts and 9 rbds on average and let Castle win MVP than lose in the finals with 40 pts and 20 rbds on average and win MVP of the year. He loves the game. He is not LeBron James who loves his palmares and delusional GOAT status above everything else while showing deep disrespect for many of his teammates over decades. Vic may think he is the best, but he loves the game above everything else. Horry does not get that…
Big Shot Bob was a former Laker mercenary hired to help us, but never a "true" Spur. Horry is entitled to his opinion, but it's sad to see Horry so desperate for airtime and clicks that he'd say crap to gain some attention in his declining years.
He does it with Duncan too. So tbh rob just hates our legends because he is only remembered for one three pointer vs the pistons.
