The scary thing is that the Pistons haven't even peaked yet. Once Ron Holland and Ausar Thompson turn the corner this team will be incredible. Also, a 20-point blowout without Duren and Isaiah Stewart. Cunningham had 42 with only 3 free throws; if he got a playoff whistle, he would have gotten 60!
Let’s see if the Pistons can do all this in the playoffs… let’s stop and pretend we have amnesia to last year when the Knicks went 0-7 against the Celtics and cavs in the regular season and lost by spreads just as big as the pistons right now. And then what happened in this playoffs? Exactly…

The Knicks don’t have the mojo needed to compete in high pressure situations. They can win a lot of games and finish with a pretty good record, but they don’t have that something extra needed to beat the best teams and win in the playoffs. It’s not as much about a talent gap as an identity problem. And no, it’s not a coaching problem or just a KAT problem…it’s that they don’t have enough guys with that winning mindset. This isn’t new…not sure why they get picked as contenders every year. They simply aren’t that team…

See this is why markets are like Detroit no longer believe in national news anymore. These guys are sitting around making excuses for a team that got swept all season by a team that wasn’t even at full strength and they still beat them by over 84 points. However, somehow they’re finding a way to make excuses for the Knicks. And they still can’t admit that the Pistons are a better team. I know you want to keep your New York fan base happy. Do that while keeping it real. But Detroit Pistons are a better team taught to bottom that includes coaching then the New York Knicks. Sorry, not sorry.
again forget the knicks. they are in a holding pattern. every year they win 50 gamesand a new team leap frogs them to the finals. this will go on for 2 more years then leon rose will break them up to shed salary. their problem is their 2 top scorers are their worst defenders.
