The one positive take I will make is that Jalen smith is proving he can be a starting caliber center. I think we keep him long term.
Nick Richards was acquired to be a backup center, he doesn’t fit a long term spot. Jaden Ivy’s knee is a problem, he may be done for the season but if not he doesn’t trust where he is at. Detroit 100% knew this, they need contributors for a playoff run and he won’t help. Every player traded to the Bulls is thinking about where they can go if they aren’t under contract and stuck with the Bulls. Sorry but the team is undergoing a rebuild, what matters is the draft, pick 9 or 10, outside chance of Portlands 1st round pick conveys, then who can we get and our second round pick from Pelicans around 35 and Denver’s second round pick. We’ll be lucky to get one of those as both can bring cash considerations. Owner wants cash. More trades coming as well, AK has said nothing is off the table. This is going to take 2-3 years minimum. We’re on a tight budget. It is what it is. Go Bulls.

Nothing to be exicted for. Giddey and Matas arent players which they can be frenchise players. No new players have biggest upside then ayo had. In the best case, dillingham can be good like tre Jones…and even him is undersized and bulls should trade him. Its like Yuki. Great creative player, workin hard.., but defence is always problem with this small guards. Worst combination of team which i saw in bulls uniform… ALL is for tank.. To get one decent player if you lucky…. And its big IF. They have 2nd round picks for ages… For what? For add another young for gleague? 2nd rounders are garbage just for have chance to get young roleplayer. In Chicago probably they get some undersized guards. Im from europe and im fan of bulls most of my life, but few last seasons are hard.
Why didn't Ivey health situation came up now and not after trade? Hornets did find Coby injury right away. What are Bulls doing?! If Ivey's knee is done, Bulls could have avoid the trade. Bulls organization is incompetent from top to bottom. And bottom to top.

I get that fans overhype young players on their favorite team. But Buzelis is not, was never and most likely never will be a 1st, or even a 2nd option on offense. An efficient 15-18 PPG 2 way starter/3rd option is his ceiling in my opinion. And thats totally fine. If he can be a comparable player to Aaron Gordon in his prime, you guys should be happy. If you try to make him into something he clearly isnt, you will never be happy with him.
Giddey does his job, but like Buzelis he isnt someone who can be a 1st option on a winning team. He is no Cade Cunningham if you understand what I mean. He has his strenghs, but is also clearly not more then a good offensive playmaker. But once again, I dont know what Bulls fans expect of him. Yes, his TO numbers arent elite, but as a Bull his AST/TO ratio is still at 2.6 to 1… thats ok.
Your team lacks a clear cut franchise player. Same as the Magic for example. They are just one tier above your team overall, but are also stuck in nomans land. They will not compete with that roster, same way your Bulls can not with that core. And I dont mean this season, I mean in general. The Bulls have 2 good starters (Josh and Matas) who can be 3rd options on good teams, some good role players, but no real Franchise players you can actually built around. The Magic have 2 Allstar Level 2nd options (Paolo Franz) and some good starter level guys, (Suggs/Bane) some good role players (MCJ, Black, DaSilva), but also lack a true franchise Player.
So let them loose, even if it looks ugly. The better the chance are to get into the top3, the better. You guys shouldnt care about "fun bad" or "bad bad" at all. cause without a true franchise level talent, your team will be in no mans land forever. Loose big, maybe for a couple of years, to get actually better over time. Just look at the Pistons 5 years ago, then look at them now. Were they "fun bad" or "ugly bad" while loosing 20+ games in a row? Now look at them. The top3 guys (Cunningham/Duren/Thompson) are all drafted by the team, some good role players are as well (Stewart, Sasser, Holland), and they filled out the rotation with veterans who fit the team needs (Harris/Robinson/LeVert/Green). As hard as it sounds, but thats what the Bulls need to do over the next view seasons.
