  1. I think we should be tracking players shooting confidence level, with offensive rebounders ready to crash, or in rebounding position.

  2. 3:30 – The on-ball growing pains weren't meant to make him look bad. He did struggle, but it was to enhance his play when he's playing primarily off the ball. Add to that dynamic, if something breaks down, he's comfortable enough to make a move.

The injury on opening night last year, stole those reps.

  3. 18:08 – play style, there is a cadance with Ja'kobe, going back to last year that says star. Not the stats but the play style, last year he didn't even look like a rookie.

This year, they kind of treated Ja'kobe/Gradey/Ochai/Battle as rookies, trying to fit it while they figure out the Scottie+BI+RJ trio.

But I'm betting behind the scenes/in practice, Ja'kobe is getting more reps on the ball.
It's same thought I had about him being on the 3rd strinunit in training camp, when everyone thought that was a "negative".
I saw it as a gigantic positive. They trusted him to "lead the 3rd unit" giving the 1st and 2nd units a chance to gel, because you already knew he could be a positive with either group.

Personally, he would have been my day 1 starter… Last season.

  4. 57:18 – it's on purpose to an extent, to work on development.
Us struggling against the top teams in the regular season is fine, as along as you see progress. In the playoffs I think we'll round out the play style, being a shock for what the other teams are seeing.

Playing average vs an average teams is by design, creating those clutch situations, if certain lineup isn't working.
