Man they blew a lot of draft picks when Jordan was the owner. There was also quiet some nepotism with Jordan assigning friends in important positions. Charlotte is also the only team to not have made the playoffs in the last 9 seasons. I'm glad they finally have something to be excited about.
One big mistake. You're assuming like MJ himself made those decisions. The main problem was nepotism hiring people from his close network who weren't fit to manage the team. As a result that lead to spiral of poor decisions such as drafting so called second coming of Larry Bird Adam Morrison who has diabetes.
he'll always live in Jerry Krause shadow in that regard. just because someone is a great NBA player doesn't mean that directly translates into being a good coach, GM, or owner.

Kon and Kalk are huge additions. Add those two to any team and they improve massively. A great volume 3 point shooter and a reliable smart center.

HE SOLD IS MAJORITY STAKE FOR 3 BILLION DOLLARS.
That, as an owner, was an ultimate winning investment.
His current minority stake is now increasing rapidly, which means he's still winning as a minority owner.
