Golden State Warriors Lose Winnable Game In New Orleans To Bad Pelicans Team

The Golden State Warriors fell 113-109 to the New Orleans Pelicans at Smoothie Center on Wednesday night. Unlike the win over the Denver, a slow start and strong finish proved to be the difference between the two teams. Chuck and Kolsky react to the game.

  1. So you wanted to heap praise on Kerr, for the previous game against the Nuggets, So since Kerr was responsible for that game, who's to blame for this?

  2. Bet they won’t mention JK looking like a better player than anyone in the GSW roster in Atlanta🤦🏾‍♂️

  3. re: Porzingas. In fact a very bad flu is going around. I don't know if POTS is auto-immune, but I've heard that. If so, and someone is immunocompromised, that flu might be even worse. I'm not trying to be all cookies and cream. I'm just sayin'. However the probabilities would seem to suggest that Porzingis should retire for his own good. and, for those of us who love Steph, trading him to a contender and moving forward for the Ws makes a lot of sense. the Ws are checkmated at the moment. The CBA is real. The Ws are old. Next season will not magically get the ws into the second round. Steph would flourish on a contending team, and then retire. Maybe he'll retire at the end of this season, and avoid further injuries that will follow him for the rest of his life. I love Steph! good if he takes care of himself.

  4. The Ws have become a team where injured and possibly old players can come back to on a cheap contract and contribute for a year. and they treat them right! That's just who we are because we need cheap contracts. It's a viable strategy.

  5. Literally nobody was guarding empty backpack😂, warriors were playing 4 v 5 on offense, no chance of winning

  6. JK comes back tonight from injury while losing Jalen to injury. Balled out & got the W. While the GSW lost. Poetic justice.

  7. Enough of load & minute management for Al & Melton that costs the team lose multiple games this season.

  8. Roster stuff will be pretty interesting next season. 176m with 9 players under contract, if Melton accepts his player option for that vet min( which he won't). Players: Steph, Jimmy, Dray(option), Podz, moody, Richard, Horford, Pat, Melton(option).
If Melton opts out, that's 8 players, meaning they need 6 signed guys.
1st apron is bumped to 210m next season, so they have roughly 33m to work with if they use a Mid level Exception. If they give that MLE, that's 16-ish million left to fill 5 spots… Between signing Post, Gui Santos, KP/Melton( whoever they don't use the MLE on)…. I guess gp2 and Seth expire as well 😂…

  9. Zero consistency for this squad, which is very normal for their level.
Considering the worst case is 10th seed, I don't blame anybody. But Melton should play much better^^

  10. “a team that is a play off team, maybe, but not a real contender”

we aren’t even a play off team. next season, i doubt we are even play in team. jimmy out for most of next season. i wish we could just give curry a bag and buy him out. there is no out, only option is to trade jimmy and all picks for a better player but even that doesn’t make sense. ig we get to see curry tarnish legacy by losing in play for consecutive years.

  11. this will definitely be a idle year. only
needle moving contract that can be traded is buttler but why would you trade a top 25 and all you picks for another top 25 player (eg. leanord). front office and owner already said they are not trading draymond under any circumstances. what are you going to trade?

  12. Good for kuminga, all you GS fools who bought into the lies about kuminga that kerr was throwing there deserted every thing you get( fools)

  13. Kuminga’s fault we lost. Kuminga played like shit while he was with us, lowering his trade value so much all we could get was a hobbled center for him.

  14. JK killer. This team losing is not a shocker. The talent on this team sucks, bunch of role players just like when Kerr was a player. Warriors deserve to suck with this dumpster fire of a roster

  15. Silver lining of all the injuries might be Gui, Podz, post rasing their floor, because they are playing a lot and through the mistakes. Which might come handy in play in and eventually in playoffs. Which I'm 99% sure warriors will get there. I think even as 7th seed. Because Suns are even more in trouble than warriors at this moment

  16. JK free from Kerr, what a debut for Atlanta (not surprising at all to be honest), JK go be great!!!

  17. JK, sorry to see you waste 4 yrs. in limbo under a dictator of a coach but glad to see that smile again! Quinn Snyder says JK is a great fit . . . . . . . . . .

  18. Happy that JK is back to playing and showing his talent! Feel bad for JP and Looney, they are not playing much if at all and I will always remember how valuable they both were to the Warriors, especially in 2022!

  19. Draymond should not play without Steph. He made offense look bad, even though it looked like he played ok.
