BYU’s defense during conference play has been very poor with a few notable exceptions. I’d hoped that after Iowa State their defense would show improvement, so that was disappointing to see yet another conference foe with almost unprecedented high percentage three point shooting.
BYU is severely lacking in consistency. One day, they can beat a top 10 team, and on another, they can lose embarrassingly to an unranked team. The commentators were right. BYU felt lost.

You need a "front man" for the team. There's no one with take-control energy on BYU's team. Clear-out and watch AJ score is lots of fun, but it makes the rest of the team watch a lot. UCF had more energy from the get-go; they deserve this.

BYU needs to open an investigation into the basketball players on the court last night against UCF who are NOT getting huge NIL money because it looks very obvious they intentionally threw the game.
They need to look into if any of them, their family, or close friends made huge bets against BYU because the way they played, just leaving UCF open time and time again with no effort to block 3-point shots looks very suspect and this would have been the game to throw to make huge profits as BYU was expected to win after beating #6 Iowa State.
