  1. We Spurs fans got really fortunate this season, the front office made really smart moves in the off season, Wemby and Castle made big leaps in development this year, Harper is as good as anticipated or better than anticipated as a rookie, Vassel, KJ and Champagnie totally bought into being high quality role players around Wemby and Fox, Mitch has been great succeeding Pop. Honestly a lot of stars are just aligning, through hard work, tenacity, smart decisions, the bond our players share being Spurs and also some luck.

  2. People call Wendy the head of the snake but this snake has many heads. Cut one off and another grows in its place

  3. Exactly. All the, “None of it works without Wemby” talk is vacuous. Does OKC work without SGA? Does New York work without Brunson? Denver without Jokic? Plus, the Spurs went 10-4 in games without Victor this season. They’re pretty damn good top-to-bottom, oozing depth, talent, and team-first attitudes. So quit saying they’re nothing without Wemby.

  4. Could talk about the whole team too, Carter Bryant is going to be a beast, KJ is 6th man of the league, Vassell when he's hot, nobody is beating them, Kornet is critical for backup and got chemistry with all the guards, not to mention a 1st year coach that has them all locked in.

  5. Wemby’s defense is so good that he creates offense off his black shots which makes up for him not making shots. That’s why even when he’s 6 foot 16 or whatever in a game his plus minus is still +16.
