I know tyrese haliburton is happy about this so I gotta be to I don’t care if people are mad about it but Thank god poverty poor and cheap Kevin Pritchard finally decided to do something and oh yea and atleast we didn’t trade Bennedict mathurin to a team in the east so he can’t cook us three or four times a season if he does it can only be twice since we traded him to a west team🙈🙈😂😂
Not a fan whatsoever about this trade.
Mathurin is my fav, and I like the trade. Even for his career. He needs his own team.
Jarace Walker and Zuu is the combo I can't wait to see after all-star weekend…
Damn This is upsetting, for the mathurin side, i didn’t realize i watch his last game as a pacer
He wanted to be a star, but he was in the most talent diluted team in the league. I ' ll miss him and wish him the best for the rest of his career ^^
Tank mode has officially begun. Lose baby lose!!!
Good luck in your APA regionals, bud!
I HATE the protections are so weak on this year's pick, but I am pleased the deal included Jackson instead of someone like Jarace or The Furph. One of these 6'4 guys Indiana has been stockpiling at the end of the bench needs to pan out. Kam Jones, please prove me wrong that you were a better choice than Maxime Raynaud.
Also, lets not overlook by simply being awful The Clippers could very well give OKC a top 3 to 5 pick (potentially pushing us out of the top 4) and then TAKE OUR DRAFT PICK. Think about that situation for a bit.
Honestly kp is a genius here after the vic era. 😂
They better tank their asses off
A massive W of a trade for the Pacers. I’ve seen some truly perplexing takes about this trade, which I guess are understandable if they don’t know the context of the Pacers roster construction.
Furphy looks promising to you ?
I got the pacers getting aj from byu
Stop it, its basically 50/50 on keeping the pick. Thats what the odds are. This Pacers organization sucks playing the draft games. Stop the ridiculousness, Ivan game is half court, his numbers will be better in LA. Cursing doesn't make you a tough guy either. Knock it off
For some reason I don't think we're tanking anymore. I think we're gonna pick 12th-14th because rebounding was our downfall. Spicy P isn't tanking and neither is Rick.
I hate loosing those pics. Mathurin was more than enough
This trade is absolute shit, what are you even talking about? That dude doesn't fit this offense, he is 28, if we don't get 1-4 in the draft or it stays under 10, we lose the ability to replace Mathurin. Zubac for two first rounders, and a 23 yr old stud. Wtf
What do you see in Johnny Furphy that could make you want to move on from Ben Mathurin. The Pacers will regret this.I'm on boared only if Jarace goes in the starting lineup and if they sign Quenton Jackson to a contract. Interested to see the Garland-Mathurin backcourt
Zubac is easily a top 10 probably more like top 7 center. This is a solid trade. It’ll be A++ if we get a top 4 pick
This move is risky
Benn even if re-signed was not going to start so it makes sense. He was not going unseat Nesmith or Nembhard from the starting line up.
This shit sucks….who the fuck is Zubac? Yuck….
Walker is trash….should deal him. We'll fuck up the draft….we always do.
Indiana sports is cursed. no way they keep the 2026 pick
OKC is going to jump up in the lottery and Pacers fall to five. Haliburton is never the same. Pacers are mid until '30. Last year was the highlight of this cores window.
I don't hate this gamble with this year's pick.
What makes the tank worth it? A top 4 pick. If it's not a top 4 pick, was the tank worth all of this suffering? I don't think so. So, instead, the tank means we get Zubac, or it means we get Zubac AND our top 4 pick. And that seems like a pretty reasonable gamble if we're trying to create a championship window for the next few years.
Love how we just gave OKC another lottery pick 🎉
Obi comes back later this month. Is this team really able to tank with only Tyrese on the injury report?
Of course we will lose it, it's the Pacers.. Ignorant move on the 2026 pick. Then to not lock down the Keon Ellis trade. In which we could of also had Shröder. Keon has the potential to be an All-Star imo. He's a 3 level scorer who has shown he has the ability to post a 108. Defensive Rating, or better. Having him then would make all your other guards that isn't Haliburton disposable if need be.. because he's already an absolute beast on Offense. Of he's an amazing defender, who's also extremely athletic and a strong/lengthy 6'4… Makes less than Nembhard, probably lock him down 4 years 15mil.. you could then have traded Nembhard at some point. They had talks with the Bulls. They could have gotten Jalen Smith back. Who when he plays with Vuc their Defensive rating together is a 7.8, without Vic a 6.9 and Vuc without Jalen a -7.9.. BTW the last game I watched of Jalen Smith. Happened to be the game where Vuc and Jalen destroyed Zubac who was a -8 for the game. He definitely wasn't their worst player.. But he was like 4/15 only had like 6 Rebounds.. I don't get the overpay.. Could have gotten Jalen Smith their 2026 and their 2026 2nd, a 27/28 2nd probably. Then rerouted Ayo Dosunmu to a different team. With another player or two. Maybe its the Pels, you get Herb Jones, or Yves Missi. Either one, or you trade Ayo to the Suns. Get Nic Richards for the year and more picks.. like a 2nd or two.. So many players we could have used in this draft. Makes me sick.. Then the chance they could lose the 2026… smdh.. Ignorant.. I lowkey believe Keon Ellis is a better player than Darryn Peterson.. So not high on him at all. Boozer is a traditional old school PF with 0 athleticism and all muscle. Good for college, will have some success in the NBA.. But doesn't fit this team.. Caleb Wilson makes no sense now they added Zubac.. so… While the odds the pick lands in the 5-9 are a much higher possibility based on our past luck.. really sucks..
I want AJ Dybansta, or I'm trading the pick for more picks. Because no one else makes sense outside Dybansta. I'd rather have the extra picks and Darius Acuff Jr., Chris Cenac Jr.. They might not even be around at 10. One might be.. If Acuff is gone hopefully Flemings.. But in all honesty. Lowkey, I feel like Meleek Thomas could be an All-Star one day. Needs time to get stronger though. If they don't land AJ Dybansta. Maybe you look at Amari Allen, Dailyn Swain.. Mathew Able, could be one of the best sleepers of the draft. 💤 But we need a developmental stretch big too more than anything. Idk if I'd even want to keep Huff at this point. Be fine if you knew you had a really good stretch big that's more your 2nd off the bench.. Henri Veesaar is also a great pick. Baba Miller is my guy, not known by most. But I love his game. He's just the perfect guy for the Pacers imo. Used to be a PG, high motor on D, great in transition. 6'11 225.. Keeps improving and can handle the ball, brings it up the floor.. can pull up and spot up.. decent passer because he used to be a PG before hitting a growth spurt.. Sleeper for sure.. 💤 He's a guy I'd take a chance on.. but Pacers don't have much success with those.. Then you have your tweeners.. but the Pacers haven't had much luck with them. Which is another reason I like Baba Miller. Because he's 6'11 with loads of other skills.. but two that at least have some skill.. lack the athleticism of Baba tho.. are Zuby Ejiofor and Joshua Jackson. JT Toppin could be a beast if he'd develop a 3pt shot.. he's great down low and awesome switchable defender.. Lil more athletic than Zuby.. But Zuby has been showing the ability to knock down a 3.. I'm not sold on them. I'd rather have Eric Reibe as a 7'1 stretch big, who's savy inside, very mobile. Will get you some blocks. Great 3pt shooter. Freshman player who plays like a senior. He will be a better defender than Veesaar. You can tell by his body type that he will fill out well in the strength department. High I.Q, plays for the Huskies. Then there's Aday Mara which was Zubac like. No need for him.. Then a guy I liked a lot who was very Zubac like and is an ⚓ at 7'2 260 Motiejus Krivas. He plays exactly like Zubac down low, hits his FT's and get double digit rebounds.. Mobile for his size too. Could occasionally hit a 3, but not his game. Don't need him though now. Brayden Burries, defensive 6'4 guard who can create his own shot a bit and shoot.. Nembhard basically, needs to work on his consistency. Ryan Conwell from Indy. Phenomenal shooter and good defender for 6'4, can get steals.. shoots on/off the ball. Another guy I love is Otega Oweh, a 6'4 super aggressive, strong two way player. Needs to improve his 3pt shot. But his motor and presence is phenomenal on the court. In transition, attacks nonstop, will go through guy's to the rim and still score. Knows how to use his body. I love guy's like that. He's like if Lu Dort and Westbrook had a child. Lol Tyrone Riley just a good 6'6 wing who can shoot from anywhere and defend with length, needs to add some weight. So many guy's I like.. I liked Moustapha Thiam too 7'3 stretch big.. But I think we're big enough. We will need someone who's a solid switchable defender big. Flory Bidunga can do that great too.. But he can't shoot.. so other guy's I mentioned would be better. He's awesome in transition and boards tho.. guess he'd be okay since we have Toppin and Huff still.. Cameron Carr a really good player.. idk.. I just would hope we'd get the right players in the draft.. many I forgot to name too. So many good guy's. They have to make a move to get a couple 2nds..
Definitely a GREAT trade!! Haliburton and Big Zu will be a force!!! Pascal will be ALL NBA next season!!! #YesCers 🔵🟡🔵🟡
sad to see Benn go, but we used to pray for times like this C wise. So happy. Silver just needs to finally do us a solid and lob us t4
