How the Nuggets’ DOMINANT Defense vs Celtics showed their Winning Formula | Film Room
The Denver Nuggets put on a defensive clinic vs the Boston Celtics, and this Film Room breaks down the exact coverages that made it work—Nikola Jokic “walling off” drives, Christian Braun icing actions, and Denver’s pre-rotations that take away the pick-and-pop before it even opens. Watch how communication and stunt-and-recover rotations create late-clock chaos, force shots from weak shooters, and set Denver up to finish possessions with elite rebounding position. Plus, we highlight the “bad reps” that still pop up—like breakdowns on closeouts and second-chance points—so you can see the real Nuggets winning formula for the rest of the NBA season.

Ah I love it when dudes explain basketball. It reminds me of my youth.
SORRY BUT CRAZY LONG TEXT INCOMING…
I know it's great having a competent backup in Val but I think the best off-season pickup was Tim Hardaway by a mile. That guy has been really good and fit into the scheme better than any of these other players that we've picked up. I don't even know if Cam Johnson's any good? I'm not trying to insult him but he's had such a small effect on the season and a big part of that was his injury. It did feel as if he was figuring it out right before he got injured and now he's starting all over again. I am very worried about the Nuggets in the upcoming month or so. The schedule is brutal and they've been losing close games and if they continue to play the way they've played over the last 10 days they're going to drop out of the top four and maybe much worse. I don't want that to happen and last night was a good sign but the Nuggets offense didn't look very good and if Boston had been shooting like they normally do then we would have lost that game. That Golden State loss was kind of a statement game and it was a very bad statement. We really miss Peyton Watson because he really seems to jibe with the big guy. Fingers crossed we get everybody back by the end of next week or just a little later than that and we can put on a run but it's just as probable that we have growing pains while we figure out how to play together with a fully healthy team. Either way we've got to play a lot better for the rest of the season then we've played since the All-Star break. That's a very obvious statement but it's been worrying me.
Love these explainers, Adam

These are my favorite videos
They usually follow up a good game with a bad one.
Great job Adam! Do more of these. 👍
these videos are so good
Adam, great breakdowns! I'm curious why you watch the games on ESPN when they are also on Altitude? If your buddy Legs was commentating, I'd get it, (I think he's great as well), but ESPN sucks for the most part!
Spot on recognition of Jamal's lazy off ball D. It doesn't stand out while watching, like a blow by does, but it's lethal.
Murray tried to play with an illness and couldn't. I think the play you highlighted may have been the last one before he sat down for the night. A guy sneaked in behind him to get the rebound. It wasn't important and certainly not as dumb as putting the wrong word in the title. No excuse for that. 😄
Love these breakdowns! Keep them going, for sure.
But why is so hard for them to help each other? I see in other teams also on attack ,how the players help clear or block others on attack so that the one with the ball has a higher chance to score, I do not see Nuggets caring so much about it 😶🌫️
