If the paint isn't being covered properly by the center, then everyone's focus is on the paint instead of the perimeter. I don't think it's fair to blame everything on JJ Redick since the media went crazy on him for being mad at his team for not playing defense properly. Everyone in the media was saying JJ is throwing his players under the bus instead of taking accountability. I think even JJ got scared about losing his job for criticising his own players in the media. I think the main blame is Ayton. If Ayton isn't shutting down the paint then what is he there for? Ayton makes Mark Williams seem like an All-Star. The fact that we had Mark Williams in foul trouble and somehow still lost. Luka wasn't that bad on defense tonight like the other nights. He also didn't complain to the referee's like the other games. I say it's time to let the rookies and the young guys start getting minutes to see if we can unlock a new star. Thiero needs minutes asap. Also, Drew Timme was amazing for us. Lets get the bottom of the roster in rotation since we aren't winning a championship this year. For God sake, bring LeBron off the bench and not with Luka and Austin. LeBron was horrible tonight…

Luka, Reeves, LeBron are the slowest defensive trio in terms of foot speed in the NBA.

The FO punted and don’t care about this season. The coaching staff and Roster is not it! Let it go…. And move on to next season folks! The mental health ain’t worth it 😅

You are putting all of your chips in on a geriatric player who plays ZERO defense. Luka is really the only decent player the Lakers have. The rest of the starting lineup are game to game inconsistent. Turnovers, poor defense, points in the paint. But lets go ahead and fire the 4th coach now and see if the Lakers win another championship. Get rid of LeOldAsDirt James for starters. A Few others can go too. Then rebuild around Luka.
