I don’t think they should be slept on. They made NYK work for the first round in last year’s playoffs and Detroit was a younger unexperienced team.
This year, Detroit is looking hungrier and it could be a lot of fun for the playoffs hopefully.

In response to Chuck, didn't pistons have a bunch of games without cade that they still won? Didn't detroit still dominate without several of their starters too, even more so then most teams…to me I've watched okc + pistons win games without their best players a bunch of times at this point…adding your 2 best players doesn't automatically = a win…it changes everything & let's not pretend detroit has played it's best ball the last 4 games either! At times detroit played better with all the injuries then they did last night…even great teams have bad games

Charles is right. The Cavs have more margin for error.
The proper criteria for MVP voting'
1) Best individual stats (offense and defense)
2) Best win shares (when on the court)
3) Best team record
4) Best highlights (heroics, clutch moments, defensive and offensive key plays)
5) Games played (if you only played 30 games but you average a triple double, I'd still give it to the guy who played 70 games but averages a double double cause he played twice as many games)
Pistons are great. But they need some reliable spot up shooters!
