Itβs not always pretty but I think over a 7 game series this team is built to wear you down. Their physicality is real. When Stew gets back the intensity goes up a notch.
This week of basketball has proven that the pistons will be runners up at the end of the year. Desperate and ugly wins against the g league versions of the Cavaliers and thunder. Not good.
Maaan caris lavert is trash and Tobias Harris idc about him hitting that jumper at the end them boys gone have to step up Cade and Duran canβt do everything
People can continue to look for excuses or reasons to knock or discount what the Pistons are doing on a nightly basis. They act like things will suddenly go differently for their teams &/or the Pistons will suddenly be less effective when the lights get brighter & the games mean more, but the more they keep knocking down anybody in their path, the clearer it is starting to become that those attempts to criticize them or explain away their success are simply coping mechanisms that they are using to mask the doubts & boost the confidence they have in their own teams. They are also an effort to distract themselves from their growing fear of the Pistons, who continue to prove on a nightly basis that they are not only legit contenders, but should stand side by side with the Thunder as favorites to win it all. Continuing to pretend otherwise will only fuel them even more. The Pistons are the real deal & in a tier by themselves atop the East & they deserve to be respected as such. Any team that chooses not to is free to do so at their own risk, but they should be warned of the fact that it is a choice that comes with consequences, which are that if & when they play, the Pistons will take off their belt & teach them a valuable lesson on respect with it.
Looks like JD is giving the belt to Daniss tonight for that one, bc even though JD by far had the best game of anyone on the team, it would have all been for nothing if Daniss didn't have ice in his veins at the free throw line. He was directly responsible for our winning the two most exciting games so far this season & I look forward to many more just like them throughout what is hopefully a long & successful career as a Pistons.

Cade had to pull Ausar into videosππ π π
I keep pinching myself.
Itβs great to hear Shaw and Kenny and Charles talking about our Pistons.
Like they talk about the stars. Like they talk about the MVP caliber players. Like they talk about the playoff teams.
It is FUN.
I hope K. Huerter gets more involved in the next games.
